Itās difficult to put into words just how proud we are to call Watermelon Moonshine ours. Every time she walks into the arena, weāre reminded that horses like her donāt come along often. She possesses that rare combination of athletic ability, heart, and intelligence that canāt be manufactured.
Recently, she has been selected alongside some of the greatest ba****ck horses in the world for championship rounds. Standing shoulder to shoulder with World Champion-caliber horses is an accomplishment in itself, but she didnāt just belong there, she owned it. Time and time again, she was among the highest-marked horses of the round, proving she is exactly where she deserves to be.
We never take a horse like this for granted. We understand how special she is, and we appreciate every trip she makes. To witness her talent, to care for her, and to watch her continually rise to every occasion is an incredible privilege.
Rocker Steiner was 91 on her to win Rodeo Corpus.
Kody Lamb was 88.5 to win Music City Rodeo.
Jacob Lees was 91.5 in Calgary for a second place finish. (She tied as highest marked with the World Champion ba****ck horse)
Trevar McAllister was 91.5 for second at Cheyenne Frontier Days short go. (She was highest marked horse of the short go, alongside World Champions).
