We have 4 Youth New England competitors today in Fitchburg, Massachusetts at the Game On Sports Complex!!

First up is Henry “the Hammer” Burke @8:45 am (10u)!!

Cruz Albert will start wrestling the 12u division around 2 pm today.

15 u is tomorrow starting at 8:45 am featuring our own Marty Harper & Cash Albert!!

This is our toughest tournament by far and the toughest tournament in New England - and wraps up an epic season for LWC!! Wrestlers from ME, NH, MA, CT, RI & VT will be battling for a prestigious New England title !! You can tune in or follow brackets via Flo Wrestling. To place on the podium is an honor , but just to have the opportunity to compete at a high level here is epic!

We hate to see it end, but are so proud of our wrestlers this year for sticking to the grind and never giving up. Wrestling is a marathon, not a sprint & those who stay reap rewards far greater then any medal or trophy. We hope to see you back on the mats with us again next year!

‼️‼️Practices for grades 3-8 only this week will be Tuesday February 10th from 5-7 and Thursday February 12th from 7-8:30 at MJHS!

Picture orders are in and will be sent to practice with Coach Nick tonight ! Anyone who cannot get them tonight can pick them up at the Lincoln Rec!

Tonight is our last practice of the year for grades K-2!!

Practices this week will be 5:30-7:30 Tuesday March 3rd & Thursday March 5th @ MJHS
This will be the last week of practices for grades k-2.
Due to the junior high schedule we will not be attending a tournament this weekend and will practice grades 3-8 only next week to prepare our older wrestlers for Youth New Englands (our last regular season tournament)!!

Lynx Wrestling Club had themselves a day at states yesterday!! While we are excited to be bringing some state championship jackets north—We are most excited to have 16 wrestlers attending which is our largest group to date! We were also able to cover the $70/wrestler registration fee due to our annual fundraiser which is epic!!!

Our focus will always be beyond trophies and medals at LWC -those are great don’t get us wrong - but to watch our wrestlers take the mat and fight til the last whistle blows —while becoming good humans with grit and integrity as a result of this sport— THAT is what it is ALL about. 🥹

Congrats to our three 2026 Maine state champs Kaysen, Cruz, & Marty 🙌🙌🙌🙌. Shoutout to Cash and Noah who placed 2nd, Emmett, Henry & Ethan 3rd, and Leo & Rowen 4th place!!!

Thank you parents & families for investing your time and effort into our little club this season. We are building and shaping the sports future & none of this would be what it is without all of you❤️. Our coaches LOVE this sport and we have the best ones in our corner by far.
