Race weekend went great! A little crash at the end of the night took cooper out of his main race in the advanced class but he was ON ONE this weekend! Brayden making progress every time he jumps on his bike and pushing harder and harder! The heat was definitely taking its toll on us but we pushed through and had a great weekend thanks to pe-paw and nanas RV. Both boys won one of their races! Cooper bent a front a-arm when he crashed, so now we’re sourcing the parts to get it back going.
Next race is in September and it’s a double points race!

We were so proud of Brayden at this past race! He rode so much faster then he has before. He almost pulled off the win but got passed right before the last turn. He was so happy to get 2nd place and won some money. We can’t wait for the next race!

A little late getting Coops video together, but I just slapped one together real quick. What a night for Coop! We had soccer first thing Saturday morning, then we drove 2.5 hours to Just Passing Thru Raceway. We missed practice and only got to run the first heat before the main race. He battled all night trying to find the right way to pass his competitor. She didn’t make it easy at all for him and she was very fast. Cooper found the perfect opportunity to take his shot and get in front right near the end of the race. He took home first place and made me super proud when he found his confidence during the race.

Race day tomorrow! The boys are ready! We are going to put cooper in a more advanced class as well as his beginner class to see if he can keep up!

We aren’t able to go to the next event the track we’ve been going to is having, so we decided to go last minute to a new track for us. We went to the season opener at Just Passing Thru Raceway and though it was super dusty and windy, we had a great time and met some awesome people!

Cooper ran their beginner class and won 1st place in his heat race and his main race! They also give payouts for winners in each class, which is awesome! We think it’s time for cooper to start running more advanced classes and see how he does and let him improve with more skilled riders.

Brayden had a whoopsie and drove off the track in practice and he busted his lip up a little bit. He was pretty shook up but after hanging out for a while he decided to go back out and run his races! He didn’t place well because he was being cautious but I’m so proud that he went back out!

It was a great time and we will be back to keep Cooper in the points race and let Brayden get more practice.

So proud of the boys for sticking to the goals and not giving up.

Cooper and Brayden killed it last night! Coopers quad ran fantastic all day and he go soo much better. Brayden went faster than we’ve ever seen him go.

Cooper got 2nd place in his beginner class and improved tremendously. He jumped the light and got penalized but still was 2nd in the holeshot.

Brayden got 3rd in his heat race but during the main race his hands got too cold to press the throttle!

It won’t let me post more than one video so I will get Brayden’s posted later today.
