🏈 Throwback Thursday to our first scrimmages!

Sunday was a big day for our Lexington Minutemen as both our 5th and 6th grade teams took the field against Ashland Youth Football League (AYFL) for the very first time!

No scores. No standings. Just a chance to finally put everything they’ve been learning into action, get some real game experience, and see all that hard work starting to come together.

A lot was learned, a lot of fun was had, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what these boys do this season!

Our boys had their first football scrimmage today, and afterward we all went out for pizza to celebrate. It is such a gift to watch these boys grow, learn, and gain confidence each week. They bring so much joy to our lives, and we are so proud of each and every one of them. 🏈💜💛🏈
