Not a bad way to end the season — new PRs and a new school record. Proud of the work every athlete has put in and proud of how we competed at a high level in every single meet.

This season was built on early mornings, tough practices, adversity, and a group that kept showing up ready to work. We didn’t just improve times and marks — we built a culture of toughness, accountability, and belief in each other.

From the first meet to the last, our athletes represented Lexington the right way. Watching this team grow throughout the year has been special, and this is only the beginning for where this program is headed.

Today we celebrate our seniors as they walk across the stage and close out a chapter that helped build the culture of Lexington Tigers Track & Field.

Thank you for the early mornings, the long bus rides, the hard practices, the leadership, the laughs, and the memories you gave this program. You represented our school with toughness, pride, and heart every single day.

No matter where life takes you next, you will always be part of this team and this family.

Yesterday we competed in our sectional finals for a chance to compete in state. Everyone of our athletes competed at a high level with extremely talented competition.

Individual
Amarion finished 4th overall in the finals
Alison finish 7th overall in the finals
Kevin earned a new Pr from the finals
Kaydence finished 7th overall in the finals
Eva finished 5th overall in the finals

Relay
Our girls 4x1 finished 3rd in the finals with a chance to go to State pending the middle and east result

Our boys 4x1 finished 1st overall earning a spot a the state meet at Knoxville

I am extremely proud of these athletes and the work they have put in all year to get where they are now, this group has an extreme level of commitment and has set the standard for years to come

Yesterday day we competed at lakeland prep in the prelims for Sprints/Relays and finals for field events. All of our athletes competed greatly with several making back to the finals Wednesday.

Yesterday we ended our regular season honoring maeve by wearing butterflies as we competed. We ended the night with several top 5 finishes and 22 of our athletes qualifying for sectionals. They have worked hard all year,but the jobs not finished we head to Lakeland prep monday for a chance to compete at state
