A special set of Granite Woodies made for the contrast with purple and white wood but also black and white granite certainly created some gorgeous and unique holds.

This set certainly pushed my wood working skills and led to some creativity with the small amount of tools I use to make holds.

I can’t wait to see them on the wall.

Introducing the Mallet (2.0) a 25mm curved unlevel edge.

Why use an Unlevel edge?

Not all fingers are built equally so why train on only an equal level surface? Unlevel edges allow for the fingers to work more cooperatively during finger flexion. The tissues responsible for finger flexion are primarily shared across fingers thus allowing better finger strength training adaptations.

Designed to the average human finger length. The Mallet is slightly better for your concentric type lifts like finger curls. It is slightly less aggressive in the difference in heights between fingers and with finger position which can lead to a better introduction into using an unlevel edge.

Alternate right and left hands to switch on the unlevel edge. Then flip to the other side for straight edge pulls.
