GEAR 2 — FIND FORCE
Speed isn’t just about moving your legs fast — it’s about how much force you can put into the ground and how well you can direct it.
Gear 2 on the SHREDmill gives athletes resistance to help develop the positions and force needed for better acceleration.
Knee Drive — helps create separation and puts the leg in position for the next powerful ground contact.
Low Toe Position — keeps the foot in a better position to attack back into the ground instead of reaching out in front.
Long Lever — finishing the push through the ground allows the athlete to apply force longer and create more projection.
Apply Force Back — during acceleration, we want to push the ground back to drive the body forward.
Better positions ➡️ Better force application ➡️ Better acceleration.
