34 Years. Countless Lives Impacted. One Incredible Legacy. 🏊💙

As we close out CKSDC 2026, we celebrate and thank Russ Thomason for 34 years of dedicated service to the Central Kentucky Swim & Dive Conference.

As President of the Central Kentucky Swim Conference, Russ has been the driving force behind one of the premier summer swim and dive leagues in Kentucky, coordinating championship events that have created unforgettable memories for generations of athletes and families. His leadership, vision, and steady presence have helped shape CKSDC into the organization it is today.

Beyond the conference, Russ has faithfully served as Board President of Spindletop Hall Inc. and has been a devoted volunteer and champion for the Spindletop Barracudas Swim & Dive Team, affectionately earning the nickname “Grand Cuda.” Whether behind the scenes solving problems, mentoring volunteers, or ensuring every meet ran smoothly, Russ always put the swimmers first.

Your commitment has impacted thousands of athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, and families across Central Kentucky. The legacy you’ve built will continue to inspire for years to come.
