Our second 12U tournament is officially in the books. We’ve made progress, taken some big strides, and faced some mental obstacles that we know we can and WILL overcome. Now we have 3 weeks off, and we plan to use every bit of those 3 weeks to PUT IN THE WORK. 💪🏼 We know where we need to improve, we know where we want to be, and now it’s time to work until we get there.
This team is still learning, still growing, and still adjusting to 12U ball, but the potential is there. 🔥
The girls are ready to work harder, get stronger, clean up our defense, sharpen our game, and come back better than ever.

#21 Maddie Mosher & #14 Leah Davis combined in the circle to throw the FIRST PERFECT GAME of our 12U season against the 12u Lady Prospects.
❤️🖤 🔥 Maddie Mosher started us off and was absolutely locked in:

🔥 Leah Davis came in to close it out and didn’t miss a beat:

3 innings. 0 hits. 0 runs. 0 walks. 5 strikeouts. PERFECT. 👏🔥
And a perfect game is never just about the pitchers , our defense did its job behind them, making the plays and keeping every runner off the bases. A complete TEAM effort!
These girls are getting their first taste of 12U ball, and we could not be more pleased with how our first 12u tournament went.

Our MVP for the weekend goes to #35 Elsie Piersol! 🏆❤️🖤
Elsie was an absolute BEAST behind the plate catching , and her bat was on FIRE! 🔥 She was our first player to hit a home run this season! 💣🥎

🔥 4 RBIs
🔥 1 HOME RUN 💣
🔥 A force behind the plate all day long
Elsie was a huge part of our success on both sides of the ball and helped the Fireballs in every way. Way to show up, #35! ❤️‍🔥
And we HAVE to brag on this entire group of Fireballs! 👏
We may not have left with the gold, but these girls battled through 6 games and 16+ hours at the ballpark in the blazing heat for their FIRST 12U TOURNAMENT! They went UNDEFEATED in bracket play all the way to the championship game. 🔥
And how about this?! FIVE of our girls went the ENTIRE DAY without striking out! 👏👏👏
We know we have work to do. We know there are things we can clean up and continue getting better at. But if this is where we’re STARTING in 12U, we cannot wait to see where these girls end up.
The future is BRIGHT. The fire is just getting started. 🔥🥎❤️🖤

🔥 NOW FOR A SHOUTOUT TO THE REST OF OUR FIREBALLS! 🔥
The fireballs went undefeated until the championship!!
We were VERY happy with the results from this weekend, and while we had our MVP and game ball winners, they definitely weren’t the only girls making plays! Every girl on this team contributed, and we want to give them the recognition they deserve! ❤️🖤🥎
🔥 #23 Rylee
Rylee absolutely held down first base for us! She finished the weekend with an impressive .750 batting average and an .800 OBP! 💪🔥 She was getting it done on both sides of the ball!
🔥 #22 Olivia
Olivia was 100% on stolen bases and laid down a BEAUTIFUL bunt! She finished with a .400 batting average and made one of our favorite defensive plays of the weekend , covering first from second base on a bunt and making the out! 🥎👏
🔥 #14 Leah
Leah had her BEST pitching performance EVER! 🔥 She faced 19 batters, struck out 12 and threw 53.76% strikes! She also laid down 2 beautiful bunts and played great defense at both first base and right field!
🔥 #2 Ava
Talk about TOUGH! 💪 Ava made a beautiful double play in center field, got hurt on a play at home while pitching went for an X-ray, and then RETURNED to play! She came back with a hurt wrist and still laid down a beautiful bunt for her team. ❤️‍🔥 She was also 100% on stolen bases!
And she got it done in the circle too — facing 7 batters, striking out 2 and allowing ZERO HITS! 🔥🥎
🔥 #11 Alex
Alex stepped up at third base and was 1-for-1 on her fielding opportunities there! She also locked down left field and added some great hits for the Fireballs! ❤️🖤 She continues to be someone we can count on wherever we need her!
🔥 #21 Maddie
Maddie was an absolute PROBLEM on the bases! 😂🔥 She recorded 12 stolen bases, running both for herself and for our catcher, and finished 100% on stolen-base attempts , NEVER thrown out!
In the circle, she faced 25 batters, struck out 19 and allowed only 4 hits, while throwing 54.62% strikes! 🔥 She also had a PERFECT defensive day with ZERO errors while playing second base and center field!

❤️🖤 THIS is why we are so proud of this entire team.
Every girl brought something to the field. Big hits, bunts, stolen bases, strikeouts, diving plays, smart defensive decisions and girls stepping up wherever we needed them.
There is still work to do, but seeing what these girls are already capable of together has us SO excited for what’s ahead.

We are so proud of ALL the girls there were so many great performances, and these game balls were well earned!

• Awesome work behind the plate catching and big defensive plays all over the field
• Went 7-for-8 on putouts whether she was catching, playing CF, or 3B
• Had 1 triple for the Fireballs
• Drove in 3 RBIs
• 100% stolen base percentage perfect on the bases!

🥎 #17 Aubree King
• Batting average: .500
• Hit 2 doubles for the Fireballs
• Dominant in the circle:
• Pitched 55.56% strikes
• Faced 24 batters
• Allowed only 2 hits
• Recorded an incredible 14 strikeouts 🔥

🥎 #15 Lennon
• Batting average: .833 💪
• 5 hits on the day including 2 doubles
• ZERO strikeouts , putting the ball in play every time!
• Made a huge impact behind the plate with a caught foul ball and zero errors
• Threw out multiple runners trying to take bases strong defensive presence all day!

We are beyond proud of all three of you, your effort, hustle, and heart showed up in every inning. ❤️🖤🔥

🔥 A LITTLE BEHIND BUT OUR AUGUST 1ST MVP WAS #1 ASPEN PIERCEALL! 🔥

This was NOT an easy one to choose! Every single girl had a standout play or moment that weekend that made us proud, which made picking just one MVP pretty tough. ❤️‍🔥
But Aspen Pierceall earned it with the GRIT she showed when it mattered most!
🥎 In bracket play against the Dobbers, Aspen knocked in the 2 winning runs to help seal the game!
🥎 At shortstop, she made an awesome diving catch and was 7-for-7 on defensive opportunities, giving her a PERFECT defensive day! 🔒
🥎 And on the bases, she was aggressive, smart and made things happen with some awesome baserunning!
Aspen showed up ready to compete, made big plays in big moments, and played with the kind of grit we love to see from our Fireballs. 🔥
We are SO proud of you, #1! Keep working, keep competing, and keep bringing that FIRE! ❤️🖤🔥
