What a way for our girls to end their season with a win 58-45 against Mast Charter!!!

Thank you to all the fans who showed up and supported the team in every game no matter the score.

Thank you to the coaching support staff - both on the bench and behind the scenes - who remained unwavering this season.

Thank you to the Truman admin - countless hours were put in by the AD, security, custodians, and admin to run practices, games, and events for this team. We could not have done it without all of them.

Thank you to the other Truman coaches - the support you gave this team was appreciated more than you’ll ever know.

Thank you to the parents who remained positive and supportive all season despite the hardships faced, who helped run the concession stand, who volunteered to help at team events. And a shout out to the mom who helped us all season to get the booster club fund started!

Thank you to the boys’ basketball team who spent extra hours at school to help the girls improve.

Thank you to our team managers who remained dedicated, appreciative, and so fun all season!

And finally, thank you, thank you, thank you to our girls. Words cannot express the lasting impact you will have on your coaches, each other, and this program. Even in this final game, you continued to surprise us in your growth and tenacity as ball players and bold young women. Keep shining, ladies 🤍

Coach Wright (track and field coach) taking some time to discuss the importance of training various aspects of athleticism in the off-season! He had our girls doing some self-assessments and reflections on their strengths and weaknesses. He spoke to our kids about the importance of the weight-room and getting in better running condition in order to excel at basketball.

Tonight's gameball winner for the game against Faith Christian is the entire team. The girls had a tough loss last night - they did not play together as a team and had a difficult time changing their mindsets. Instead of continuing down that path tonight, the team came in with a different mentality and worked hard to stay in the game all night - even when the wheels started to come off in the third quarter, they kept their heads up and stayed in it until the very end. They may have lost, but they had some new experiences and growth as a team tonight. Tonight felt like a win for our girls because of the pride they showed in themselves and in their team.

Well done, Tigers!!!

On to the next and final game of the season this Friday!

Tonight's gameballs against CRN went to Alivia-Grace Braley, Empress Parker, Avery Friel, and Amina Gaga. All 4 players showed new levels to their game and kept great attitudes during a tough game. Well done, ladies!

Tonight the gameball went to Avery Friel. Avery has been working all season on some aspects of her game that are difficult to change. We are all works in progress, and Avery keeps working to progress herself. Her coaches saw some subtle changes during the game, and she deserves to be recognized for her continued work!
