On day 14 of the Kyushu 2025 Sumo Basho, Onosato loses and Aonishiki defeats Hoshoryu, leaving all three men with 11-2 records.

Tomorrow, Onosato and Hoshoryu face off. Meaning should Aonishiki win against Kotozakura, the winning yokozuna will fight in a playoff against Aonishiki for the yusho.

Aonishiki is trailing 10-3 and is scheduled to face off against Hoshoryu tomorrow
