Ghost Crabs fans what an amazing inaugural season!
I’ve been thinking about for a while what I was going to write for this caption after our 3-0 loss tonight in the playoffs against the Oak Island Loggerheads and I’m just so proud of this organization!
For being a brand new inaugural team we had lots of loving and welcoming fans at every home game, our social media team reaching crazy numbers of different audiences, top tier coaching from Coach Mongero, Coach Foy, JD Everett, the best staff anyone could wish to work with y’all are so amazing, and last but not least the players for working extremely hard and for allowing us to welcome you guys into the Ghost Crabs family! ❤️
Now although our season has come to an end, sometimes it’s not always about the destination but sometimes rather about your journey and how you grow together because with our team, our Ghost Crabs formed a brotherhood and created memories that they will remember for the rest of their lives and in my book that’s what summer baseball is all about! 🙌
Champions hold their heads high in defeat and I’m so glad we’ve got a group of guys that are so humble and the way they carried themselves this season was truly amazing to watch and I’m so proud of them!
Shoutout to our owners, partnerships, sponsors, post-game meals, and last but not least GM Tom Lamont for simply being yourself and embracing what being apart of the Ghost Crabs community looks like!
