Let’s talk fear, because this isn’t really about headstands.
It’s about what happens WHEN fear shows up.
Fear is powerful. It can convince us to stay where we are, avoid discomfort, and question what we’re capable of. Sometimes that’s exactly what it’s meant to do.
Yoga gives me a safe place to explore that fear in my body. In a controlled environment, I get to notice my reaction without needing to fight it or ignore it. I can breathe, get curious, choose to continue, or choose to stop and make adjustments if needed.
The practice isn’t about forcing myself through fear, it’s about learning that I can experience it without immediately handing it the steering wheel.
Every wobble teaches me something. Every fall reminds me I’m okay. Every attempt builds a little more trust in myself.
And little by little, that relationship with fear starts to change- not just on my mat, but in my daily life.
Sometimes the greatest transformation isn’t mastering the pose.
It’s realizing that fear doesn’t have to make every decision for you.
