Both are wonderful ways to improve your fitness level and I like to incorporate both into my clients personalized routines!

You can’t change muscle length with a workout. 🧬❌

The claim that Pilates creates "long, lean muscle" while lifting makes you "short and bulky" is pure marketing.

Your muscle shape and length are determined entirely by your genetics and bone structure. Exercise can build muscle tissue, but it can’t stretch it into a new shape.

Both methods build lean tissue, but heavy lifting remains king for building maximum strength and bone density.

Train for strength, not mythical muscle shapes. 🏋️‍♀️
