Today was the SBAAC All Conference Banquet, and we’re excited to recognize a special group of athletes, congratulations to our SBAAC First-Team National All-Star Track & Field honorees!

Being named SBAAC First Team is a tremendous accomplishment and a testament to the dedication, sacrifice, and hard work these athletes put in throughout the season. Their commitment to excellence, both in practice and competition, helped make this a memorable year for our program.

We are incredibly proud of the way they represented East Clinton with determination, sportsmanship, and Astro pride. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition and an outstanding season!

Today, Max finished 11th place in the OHSAA Regional Championships in Shot Put with a throw of 47’ 3.5”, competing against some of the top athletes in the state.

This regional appearance caps off a remarkable season that included breaking the East Clinton School Record in Discus with a throw of 145’ 5”, surpassing a record that had stood since 1993. Max’s dedication, work ethic, and commitment to improving every day have been on full display throughout the season.

While the season may have come to an end, the impact Max has had on East Clinton Track & Field will be remembered for years to come. From setting school records to competing on one of the biggest stages in Ohio high school athletics, he has represented the Astros with pride, determination, and class.

Congratulations, Max, on an incredible season and all you have accomplished. We are proud of you and excited to see what the future holds!

GOOD LUCK, MAX GULLEY!

Today, East Clinton senior Max Gulley takes the next step in his track and field journey as he competes at the OHSAA Division IV Region 13 Championships at Southeastern High School in Chillicothe.

Max earned his trip to regionals with a 4th-place finish in the Boys Shot Put at the District Championships. This afternoon, he’ll compete against some of the best throwers in the region as he represents East Clinton and the Astros on one of Ohio’s biggest stages.

Join us in wishing Max the best of luck as he competes in the Boys Shot Put beginning at 4:30 PM today!
