Landon Thrasher made a last lap pass for the win in Round 2 of the Cookout Summer Shootout for the Legends Young Lions here at Charlotte Motor Speedway!

Definitely not how we wanted to end the night as the finish doesn't match the performance. After running in second for much of the race, we got collected in a accident on a restart with just a few laps to go. We are still proud of our driver and the progress he continues to make finding speed with the help of our partners at Podium X Motorsports and the confidence he continues to build.

A good weekend for us and our teammates.

🏁 𝐏𝐎𝐃𝐈𝐔𝐌 𝐗 𝐌𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐒 𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐏 – 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐑𝐈𝐌 𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐄𝐃𝐖𝐀𝐘 | 𝐌𝐀𝐘 𝟑𝟎𝐓𝐇 🏁

Another strong night for Podium X Motorsports at Highland Rim Speedway, highlighted by a trip to Victory Lane and multiple competitive performances across our team!

🔥 Landon Thrasher put together a dominant performance in the Legend Car division. After qualifying 2nd, Landon took the lead on the opening lap and never looked back, leading every lap on his way to Victory Lane. It was a flawless drive and a well-deserved win for the entire team.

🏆 Mike Curran was having a solid night as well, running comfortably inside the Top 10 before a mid-race caution brought some bad luck. Contact with debris resulted in a cut tire, forcing an unscheduled pit stop. Despite going to the rear of the field, Mike fought back to finish 12th overall and 3rd in the Masters Division, salvaging a respectable finish from a challenging situation.

💪 In the Bandolero feature, Elliott Klein continued his strong season with an impressive 3rd-place finish, earning another podium result for the Podium X Motorsports team.

😔 Carter Clapp had one of the fastest Bandoleros on the track and was running 2nd when he was collected in an accident on a restart. Unfortunately, the result doesn’t reflect the speed he showed all night, but his performance proved he’s a driver to watch.

Congratulations to all of our drivers, families, and crew members for another successful night of racing. The hard work is paying off, and we’re excited to keep building momentum as the season rolls on.
