Yesterday we had our first ever feed the fighters event and it was amazing! We are proud to be able to do things like this for the community and look forward to continuing this tradition every year. A special thanks to:

The Track kitchen for hosting the event. Janis Baker and Amy Brewer for covering the event on social media and helping with the setup. Chuck Locy for putting together all the music and performers. The American Legion 186 for providing the flags and tent as well as helping with the cooking and cleanup. Ralph and the guys were amazing! Dennis Baker. Husband of our own Janis Baker. For his beautiful rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner. And the following sponsors:

The Feed Store
Kirby’s Auto and truck repair
Farmhouse Style
The Walt Latui tire company
The Lemonwood soap company
Carli’s Cookies
Mad Potter
The Woodshed bar and grill
Avid Sign Company
Kosins Rentals
Moldy Cheese
The Waynesville Clock Shop

Because of your support we were able to give away over $1000 in prizes to our veterans! When I started this company, it was just about basketball. To be able to use this platform to do good things in the community is truly a blessing. Thank you to everyone!

Today is the 2 year anniversary of DDL Basketball! I can’t believe how fast it’s went. We went from 18 kids in season 1 to now over 100 in our seventh season. Thanks to the generosity of our 110 sponsors we have been able to successfully sponsor over 130 children in the last 2 years including 50 this season alone! What started in Lebanon Ohio has now expanded to Kentucky and Indiana. One day this will be a nationwide program! I would like to thank Fox and Channel 2 news as well as Lex18 for covering our stories over the years. Our sponsors who have donated their personal time and money to support our mission. Guys like Carson Bowser who was our first investor and Amanda Lawless who helped lay the groundwork for our success. Coaches like Aaron Sandlin who devoted their time and effort to help these kids. And most importantly, the children. I started this for you guys just to make sure you had a place to play ball. Years later, I had no idea it would be so big. I wanna say thank you to all the players and parents who trusted us over the years. It wasn’t always perfect. But you’ve given us an opportunity to learn from our mistakes and put out the best product possible. Without you guys there is no DDL basketball. No matter how big we get moving into the future we will never forget what we came from. To everyone. Thank you, from Ddl basketball!!
