Basketball season is fast approaching! Unfortunately not everyone will have the opportunity to play for their school. DDL Basketballs Winter Premiere League is designed for those kids that love the game and just wanna have fun playing it. There will be no tryouts. Only evaluations. Every one will be placed on a team. Everyone receives a jersey. 2 practices a week. 10 games against teams all over the area. Plus an end of the year tournament and Allstar game. We do everything we can to make this the funniest version of Basketball possible. The debut for Pete The Plumber was a great game! Even in the loss the boys played hard and represented the brand well! We are looking forward to a great season!!! Thank you again to Pete and Amy St. Jean for making this possible!

The debut for the Kirby Auto team was a success! It was a hard fought game that was close the whole way but our boys kept it together and pulled it out in the end! Thank you to all the parents players and coaches who supported the game. A special shout out to Kirby‘s auto and truck repair for making this happen! This is gonna be a great season!

DDL Basketball is looking for teams and individual players for our upcoming fall season! Games and practices will be held at the college hill community center. This will be a good tuneup for players getting ready for winter basketball. THE LEAGUE IS FREE FOR ANYONE ON GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE OR LOW INCOME HOUSING! THERE IS ALSO NO COST IF YOU ARE ACTIVE MEMBER OF THE ARMED FORCES! For those who don’t qualify, but need assistance, we have payment plans as well. Teams can register for free. They are only responsible for one Ref per week. Games held on Wednesday evenings or Sunday. Army takes the victory 57 -49 in our first ever DDL Basketball Navy vs Army game!!!!

Yesterday’s first ever DDL Basketball Army vs. Navy games was a huge success! Our troops came out and played a great game! Their teamwork, sportsmanship and overall effort was truly a testament of the high standards and expectations of our armed forces. It was a privilege to this host event.

In the end, despite a valiant effort from our Navy. Our Army came out on top with a final score of 57 - 49! Navy was able to bounce back in the 3 point competition to beat Army by a final score of 23 - 12! To all of the players and fans who attended this year‘s event I just wanna say thank you and we look forward to doing this every year.

Moving forward as a testament to our appreciation for everything our fighters do for this country. Children of all active members of the armed forces can play in our league for free! Just go to our website ddlbasketball.com and register. All costs will be covered by us.

I also wanna give a huge thank you to the staff at the Urbancrest Church! Everyone there went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for this game and it was greatly appreciated.
