What a Halloween! 🎃 we spent the evening at Red Hill Raceway with the Midwest Thunder 410 Sprint Car Series with two cars on the track. Parker Frederickson Racing took the 76s from 11th to 5th in the feature. After big changes last week and then making some quick fixes after coming off from engine heat the car was flying. The 76s has been the little steel block that could and that 360 has ripped with some fast 410s from local races to USAC Racing sprint week. This has a been a year of building an entire team and program and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

We had the 21s on the track last night driven by Jamie Frederickson. Jamie has been with the team helping at many of our events this year and it was great to see him behind the wheel. Unfortunately after a wild save, the luck turned on the 21s in the heat race with a crash. The team. Got the car back together in the pits and it did start in the feature. Unfortunately it wasn’t where it needed to be to be competitive so Jamie made the right call to park it.

The laughs, tears, friendships, and memories of this season are going to be with us always and we are ready to tear down these cars, maintenance this trailer, detail our popcorn machine and come back faster next year.

Samson Family Racing is fielding two cars tonight at Red Hill Raceway in Sumner, Illinois! Parker Frederickson and his uncle, Jamie Frederickson, will be behind the wheels of our SFR cars as we close out the 2026 racing season with the Midwest Thunder 410 Sprint Car Series !

19 cars checked in for tonight’s action!

A fun bit of history makes tonight especially meaningful for us. Red Hill is where we picked up our very first 76s sprint car. It’s where the journey that became Samson Family Racing began, and we couldn’t think of a more fitting place to finish our season.

What started with one car has grown into something we’re incredibly proud of, and tonight we get to bring it full circle with two Fredericksons behind the wheel.

Here’s to a great night of racing and one last run in 2026!

If you’ve followed sprint car racing around here, you may recognize Brady Click Click Motorsports, former driver of the 7c.

A decade ago, Brady introduced Casey to sprint car racing when they both worked at Clinton County EMS. A few years later, Samson Family Leather had a small sponsorship spot on the hood of Brady’s car. When we finally bought our own sprint car, Brady was the first call—even though he had recently “retired.”

Tomorrow at Montpelier Speedway by The Milkman, that story comes full circle. Brady will be behind the wheel for SFR, and we’re excited to have him joining us this weekend!

But hold on… Parker Parker Frederickson Racingis ALSO running one of our cars tomorrow.

Does that mean…? Yep. We now have TWO sprint cars rolling out! 🔥

What a way to end a very exciting year.
