Canes Southwest Family,

Last night at practice, Coach Adam Alejandro suffered a serious injury and underwent emergency surgery. We are grateful to share that he is stable and recovering.

Coach Adam is one of the most dedicated people in our program. He has poured his time, energy, and heart into developing our kids, and our program would not be what it is without him. Now it’s our turn to show up for him.

One of our Canes parents, Allison Jacobs, has set up a GoFundMe to help cover medical expenses, lost wages, and everyday family needs while Coach Adam focuses on healing. Every dollar goes directly to him and his family.

Even if you’re unable to donate, please share this post. Please help us rally around Coach Adam the same way he has always rallied around our players. 🙏

WALK-OFF. 🔥

Our guy Andre Wuescher in the biggest spot of the game, with the bases-loaded, down 1 run with 2 outs in the last inning, comes up clutch with a hit down the line to score two and sn**ch the 5-4 WIN for 14U Toups. Back and forth game that went the Canes way last Sunday! That’s how you close it out and do it for the guys around you! 🏅

🏆 Big shoutout to our 11U Demco (Major) squad on claiming the title of PG Central Texas State Champions! 🏆

An incredible weekend for this group of young men.

As the #5 seed, they earned a hard-fought 3-1 quarterfinal victory, upset the #1 seed 5-2 in the semifinals, and capped off the day with a 14-7 championship win.

The growth, confidence, and teamwork this team showed this season was special to watch. Thank you to all the families who spent their weekend cheering these boys on.

Champions on the field and a great group off of it. 💛⚾🖤

Canes Southwest is running our Youth Summer Program for players who want to compete and get better this summer. 1 practice per week, 3 tournaments, and a spot in the Five Tool World Series (July 2–5).
