Plan Ahead for the 2026-2027 School Year

The approved CUSD #20 School Calendar for the 2026-2027 school year is now available. The calendar provides families, students, and staff with important scheduling information, including school start and end dates, holiday breaks, teacher institute days, and other significant dates throughout the year.

We encourage everyone to review the calendar and keep it handy as you prepare for a successful school year.

As another school year comes to a close, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make it a success.

To our dedicated teachers—thank you for the passion, patience, and commitment you bring to your classrooms each day. Your hard work, encouragement, and care leave a lasting impact on the lives of your students.

To our outstanding support staff, including paraprofessionals, office personnel, custodians, cafeteria staff, nurses, bus drivers, administrators, and all those who work behind the scenes—thank you for everything you do. Your efforts help create a safe, welcoming, and successful learning environment for our students every day.

To our families—thank you for your partnership, support, and trust throughout the school year. Your involvement plays an important role in the success of our students and schools.

And to our students—thank you for your hard work, growth, and determination this year. We are proud of all you have accomplished and look forward to seeing what the future holds for each of you.

As summer begins, we hope you enjoy time with family and friends, make wonderful memories, and take time to relax and recharge.

Today we proudly recognize the hardworking school nurses who make such a difference every single day.

From caring for minor injuries and illnesses to managing medications, health plans, and supporting students through tough moments, you handle it all with compassion, patience, and professionalism. You are often the calm presence students need most.

We want to sincerely say thank you.

Thank you for every ice pack handed out, every form completed, every call made to families and providers, and every moment you step in to care for a student who needs help. You provide comfort, safety, and reassurance when it matters most.

Your role goes far beyond healthcare—you are trusted advocates, dedicated educators, and a vital part of our school community. CUSD #20 is truly grateful for each of you.
