Honey bear has had a long weekend! She has had some long tracks. Had a first today the deer that the young boy is holding was fully alive and had her pinned against a tree with a horn in her side. She has a small puncture wound on her side. Luckily Hudson was right there to pull him of her. She is laid up resting right now. Don’t believe the puncture was deep but she is sore. She will get a break the next couple days and Bonnie will get some solo work in. Say a little prayer for ole Honey Bear.

Ole Honey Bear and Bonnie Lou finally got a call this afternoon. High shot and back. There really wasn’t an exit. Broad head barely sticking out. We only found 2 drops of blood. One spot was where he was bedded when we jumped him first time. Went 400 yards just had to rely on the dogs noses. Great way to start the season.
