But you don't have worry about it at Nevada's Silver State Games sprint triathlon on Saturday, April 25. It takes place in FRESH WATER at Lake Mead just outside Las Vegas!

The sprint race is open to all ages 40-plus, and is Nevada's qualifier for the 2027 National Senior Games sprint triathlon for the age 50-plus set.

The 5K & 10K Road Runs and sprint-distance Triathlon will kick off the 2026 Silver State Games season on Saturday, April 25 at RAGE Triathlon and Runs al Lake Mead.

Choose your event, then race for fun, achieve a personal goal, go for a personal best, or vie to qualify for the 2027 !

Medals awarded for Silver State Games AND BBSC overall and age group top finishers!

Today, let's walk, run or bike to remember those beloved family members and friends who went before us, and celebrate their lives.

It's not about our physical fitness today, but about who we are as Divas as we move through this life...and how we live our lives that may inspire others to join us in living healthfully, actively, and with a zest for life.

The phrase, "If the hat fits, wear it," appears to have several meanings, but I'm gonna go with this one: Be true to yourself and enjoy your uniqueness!

This includes being a fitness walker if you don't like running; actually riding your bike to work instead of driving because you really don't care about "helmet hair"; or laughing at the thought that you're "throwing your weight around" when you've easily lifted those kids into the car, thanks to your strength training at the gym.

We Divas love being who we are, doing the fitness and sport things that lift our spirits, and discovering how expansive our potential really is.

Woohoo! Who says runners of a "certain age" aren't pacesetters and medal winners? I met several women who fast walked their 5K and achieved personal bests -- one felt filled with gratitude to make it to the *start* line. We're Divas -- we do this for FUN!
