I haven’t done one of these posts in a while, so I think it’s about that time. .
Ever since I can remember I was a competitive swimmer 🏊♀️ - all throughout elementary school, middle school, high school and college. .
Because I was swimming 2+ hours a day I thought it was completely fine to eat whatever I wanted 🍩 🍕 because I would “burn it off”. Needless to say I did not have a healthy relationship with food and in college I gained the dreaded freshman 20.
When grad school hit I no longer had a swim team or organized sports to join, so I took to biking 🚴♀️, running 🏃♀️, swimming, and making my own weight lifting routines 💪🏼. .
Guess what - I gained even more weight, felt even less comfortable in my own skin, and developed IBS.
Thank goodness my fiancé introduced me to at home 🏡workout programs. At first I thought there was no way I could get a good workout in in only 30 minutes a day from home (keep in mind I was used to 2+ hr practices), but when I saw the weight just falling off I became a firm believer that these workouts and nutrition guides WORKED! .
