Wow, I received a response from the Flush.
Hi Greg-
Thank you for your years of viewership of “The Flush” - I truly appreciate it. I also thank you for your note- we do our very best to showcase the sport we love with highest level of photography, editing, storytelling and safety. We are not perfect, but, we can redouble our efforts to lose the images you have shared from the show going forward. Thank you for reaching out- again, I appreciate your continued patronage of our show and the concern you have for our sport. Happy New Year-

Scott,
I have been a fan of The Flush TV show since it began.
I only hunt Upland game, and I hunt over 50 days a year over three beautiful English Setters, in seven western states.
I am sending you these photos in the hopes that your show will become more safety conscious. We all know that hunting with loaded shotguns, over uneven terrain, with cdogs can be dangerous.
I took these screen grabs directly from your Indiana pheasant and quail show and Kansas pheasant show that you aired recently in the 2025 season. These hunters lack of muzzle awareness, with loaded guns, and the fact that your editors didn’t catch these dangerous actions is a bit astounding.
Everyone makes mistakes, that’s why I hunt with very few individuals. The individuals that I hunt with have a safety discussion every day before we leave the truck. Muzzle awareness is a basic principle of shotgun hunting.
Your show takes special care to be a positive influence regarding habitat, friendship, taking care of your bird dogs, I hope that you will be that same positive influence when it comes to gun safety?
Sincerely,
Greg Shay
