The hardest video I make all year is Bailey’s.
Not because of the editing, the music, or finding the right photos. It’s because after spending hours going through these memories, laughing at some and crying through others, you start to feel like you knew her.
I’m a lucky man. My kids are grown and healthy, and working on this video every year reminds me just how much of a blessing that really is.
And yes… those paper towels sitting in front of my monitor are for me. I go through about a roll every year making this video.
But through all the tears, there’s something pretty incredible about Bailey’s story. A little girl I never had the chance to meet continues to bring thousands of people together and make a difference in the lives of other families.
Because of Bailey, we’re changing the world one run at a time.
We’ll see y’all Labor Day weekend at the South Point Hotel & Equestrian Center.
