Team Miss Min

Hello race fans! I just wanted to update everyone about the latest news on Team Miss Min. Getting to the point, age has finally caught up with me. Insurance companies have recently changed the rules and are unable to insure anyone over 70 years old for any activity involving air racing. As a result, Miss Min will not be participating at the air races this year. Total disappointment does not even come close as to how the team feels about this. We know that many of you are disappointed too.

What will happen to Miss Min now?

We are not sure yet. We do have a few options, one of which is to donate her to a museum. Whatever happens, we will let everyone know with a future post.
What do we do now? Go to the races if you can and be a part of air racing history. If you can’t be there, you can watch it live streamed at airrace.org.
Good luck to all the racers, and as we have always said, fly fast, fly low, and turn left.

The National Championship Air Races will be held September 13-17, 2023. The Reno Air Racing Association has been organizing the Reno National Championship Air Races for over 50 years. Get your ticket for the National Championship Air Races today.

Hello Race Fans!
First of all, Team Miss Min would like to welcome all of our new Face Book followers. It is obvious that everyone has been sharing our success with their friends, and it shows. Our followers have more than doubled since our last race in 2021. For those who have called personally or have sent emails, thank you for your kind words and best wishes for success.
UPDATE: Our team decided to skip 2022 and come back in full force in 2023. We also anticipate attending Pylon Racing Seminar, PRS, in June to test our recent modifications under race conditions. If you think that air racing is something you would be interested in doing, PRS is a good place to start. If you are unable to attend the NCAR, you can catch up on the action by going to their youtube channel starting tomorrow Sept 15 -18.

Thur. 9/16/21-Reno NCAR-Formula One HT1A: Morning race action capture of team owner/pilot~ *Jim Jordan* flying his gorgeous all-white modified Cassutt III-M #54-“Miss Min” (N54ML) along the Stead Field racecourse main straightaway.
Jordan was the fastest-qualifier @ 244.902-mph~ among the 15-plane field of F-1 Class entries competing at Reno 2021, and he finished in 3rd-Place during Sunday’s exciting 8-lap Gold Championship Trophy Race @ 225.179-av/mph. (Copyright ’21-Don ‘Bucky’ Dawson)
