⛳️ LVGA RECAP — BALI HAI | WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9 🌴🔥

Well… the weather forecast definitely lied to us. 😂

For the first time I can remember, LVGA had a NOON tee time. When I booked Bali Hai, the forecast was showing temperatures in the mid-80s. Sounded perfect! By the time we got there…it was 103°F! 🥵🔥 Welcome to Vegas summer golf!

Despite the heat, Bali Hai was in good shape. The greens were rolling pretty good, and as always, this course can get tight and very challenging—especially when you decide to play from the tips like some of us did. 😅

The heat definitely won a few battles. Two players had to bail halfway through the round, and honestly, I don’t blame them. Next time I’m bringing my cart shade AND portable A/C. 😂

👏 Welcome to our newest LVGA member, Andy Merino, who recently moved to Las Vegas from California. Andy got the full Las Vegas summer golf initiation on his first round with us! 🔥⛳️

# # ⛳ LVGA QUARTERLY TOURNAMENT RECAP — SIENA 🇺🇸

**Wednesday, August 19**

Well… this LVGA tournament definitely started with a little more excitement than I planned. 😂

This was our **LVGA Quarterly Tournament**, so the entry automatically included:

🏆 **Low Net**
🏆 **Low Gross**
🤝 **2-Person Blind Net Team**

# # # 😬 First, I owe everyone an apology…

I completely screwed up the starting time. I forgot to change the announcement and posted that we were starting at **8:00 AM**, when Siena actually had us scheduled to start at **7:00 AM!** 🤦‍♂️

Luckily, **Michael Young** showed up around **6:45 AM** and discovered the problem. Suddenly, I was calling and texting everyone telling them to get to the course ASAP. 😂

Thankfully, **Chandler Gale and the Siena Pro Shop** were kind enough to work with us and rearrange our tee times so we could start closer to **8:00 AM**.

Unfortunately, **Tommy Lin and Amy Ye had to skip breakfast** because of the chaos I created. 😂 Sorry, guys! Breakfast is important before trying to take our money!

Big THANK YOU to **Chandler Gale** and the Siena staff for accommodating us and helping turn what could have been a disaster into another fun LVGA tournament. 🙏

Once we finally got on the course, everything was great. The weather wasn't nearly as bad as expected, **Siena was in great shape**, and the greens were rolling extremely smooth. Definitely looking forward to playing there again soon.

Hopefully, we'll get a bigger turnout for our next Quarterly Tournament!

This is exactly why I never want to play in a 4-man scramble tournament. 😂 There are way too many opportunities for teams to magically come in with some ridiculous score when nobody is watching.

Don’t get me wrong—a 4-man scramble can be a lot of fun, especially for charity events. But if there’s serious prize money involved, I’m skeptical unless there are officials or some kind of scoring verification.

What do you guys think about 4-man scrambles? Fun format or cheater’s paradise? 😂⛳️

Well… that escalated quickly! 😂

Due to the incredible interest, we increased our LVGA Bandon Dunes trip from the original group size (8 players) all the way up to the MAXIMUM 20 PLAYERS — and now ALL 20 SPOTS ARE TAKEN! 🙌🏌️‍♂️

What a day at Chimera Golf Club!

We kicked things off at 6:28 AM, which is basically prime time in Las Vegas during August. 😎🌴 And Mother Nature decided to give us a break today — only mid-90s! In Vegas, that practically qualifies as sweater weather. 😂🔥

⛳ CHIMERA DIDN’T DISAPPOINT!

The course was in great shape, especially for the price, and we’re definitely looking forward to bringing LVGA back again.

A BIG shout-out to Ryan Burke and the entire Chimera staff for taking great care of our group. Ryan was incredibly accommodating, and the staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about making sure our players had a great experience.
