We haven't showcased one of our talented kids in a bit. For January, our Outwork Athletics kid of the month goes to Freshman stand out, Ryan Rainbolt. He was up last for the final match of the night for wrestling against Moses Lake. Moses is a team Wenatchee has not beaten in years. With the match tied up 33-33 Rainbolt as a freshman pinned their senior guy giving Wenatchee their first win as a team over Moses Lake since the 80's.

We were not surprised in what Ryan has accomplished this year. Being only a freshman he works extremely hard everytime he comes in for his sessions. We have a motto to always Outwork your competition and Ryan does exactly that. We are so proud of you and are excited to watch you continue and grow throughout your high school athletic journey. What is just as important to us is how you behave outside sports. Ryan is just as good a kid outside of competition as he is during. We love you Ryan. Huge shoutout to his parents for all they do for their kids as well and how they have raised them to be such amazing kids.

In prep wrestling, it came down to the final match of the night between Wenatchee and Moses Lake with the Panther’s Ryan Rainbolt pinning Ladarius Moanuna in the second round.
