CIRCA MILLIONS VIII
NFL WEEK 1
(4 entries at $1000 each)

Here's the second of two major contests (SuperContest being the other) where the money is huge -- $1 million guaranteed for first, $500K for second, etc. But we do not have a good record in this contest, though this is only our third year to join.

New season, with the mini-contests which is much like the other sportsbook. So, we are always "in action" on every ticket given these mini-contests re-set every three weeks.

As previously discussed -- note that since all the picks must be turned in at once, it's rare that I'll be selecting anything on the Thursday games. So, that's why you didn't see anything on the two games that have already completed in Week 1. It's not enough time or information to rush picks, so I prefer just to leave that out of the process (though there could be rare exceptions going forward).

Here are the NFL Week 1 picks on all four tickets. In this contest, Pittsburgh is on all tickets -- the primary reason being, there was a late QB change for Falcons starting Cooper Rush instead of Tua, and line rocketed from -3.5 up to -6, so we can't pass on 2.5 points of line value:

I wouldn't mind seeing info before I pick these final selections, and I'll make a weekly discussion POST early in the week so investors can post info they think is useful, or just share opinions. Look for this starting in Week 2 (next Tuesday or Wednesday).

WESTGATE SUPERCONTEST
NFL WEEK 1
(4 entries at $1500 each)

Here's one of two major contests (Circa Million being the other) where the money is huge and we have good history (recall our 2nd place in this contest in 2024).

New season, with the usual mini-contests. So, we are always "in action" on every ticket given these mini-contests re-set every three weeks.

Note that since all the picks must be turned in at once, it's rare that I'll be selecting anything on the midweek or Thursday games. So, that's why you didn't see anything on the two games that have already completed in Week 1. It's not enough time or information to rush picks, so I prefer just to leave that out of the process (though there could be rare exceptions going forward).

Obviously, we want to get off to a good start on each of these tickets. It should be noted we've started off poorly each of the past two seasons, then improved over the course of the year. But this is a small sample size, and I wouldn't read too much into that.

Here are our NFL Week 1 picks on all four tickets. Pittsburgh is placed on all contest tickets--reason being, late QB change for Falcons starting Cooper Rush instead of Tua, and line immediately rocketed from -3.5 up to -6, so we can't pass on 2.5 points of line value getting the old number:

2026 WESTGATE SUPERCONTEST
COLLEGE FOOTBALL
WEEK 2 PICKS (of 14 WEEKS)
[3 ENTRIES]

This is the second week of college football (full schedule). We pick 7 teams per week to cover the spread. Games are played Fri.-Sat.

Week 1 was a good picking result but a HORRIBLE weighing outcome. Both of the 3 ticket picks lost (that's -6 units) yet we still went 10-11. Best thing is, the BUNCHING FACTOR. We want one (or more) tickets to have concentrated winners. So, going 5-2 on one ticket is preferable than going .500 on all three. It's early, but let's keep an eye on the #3 entry.

Note I did a few teams for two tickets but not going to pick on three tickets at this point (unless there's a massive line shift or other news). Learning and adjusting as we go along. This week's picks:

FUTURES BET:
MINNESOTA VIKINGS TO WIN NFC

If we win this wager, we are guaranteed to enjoy a winning season -- even if all the contest entries tank.

The Syndicate is live on a 23-1 shot for $1,000 for the Minnesota Vikings to win the NFC and be in the Super Bowl (not win it, just get there).

I have this article coming out shortly, which is posted here early for your eyes only. It explains my reasoning and thought process behind the Vikings futures bet.

So, we are all Vikings fans this season!

***Here's Why I'm Betting on Something that Hasn't Happened in 50 Years***

by Nolan Dalla (All Rights Reserved)

I'm highly optimistic about the 2026 Minnesota Vikings and their chances of enjoying a successful regular season, and potentially a big postseason, as well.

Accordingly, I've bet Minnesota on a number of futures propositions. In this report, I'll explain why I like the Vikings this year on multiple wagering opportunities.

---Numbers and Value: Season Wins Total---

Let's begin with Minnesota's projected "Team Total Wins" which is over/under 8.5. I love the OVER.

The Vikings finished with a 9-8 record last season. That was accomplished with the worst quarterback situation in the NFL. Down the stretch, Minnesota was starting a third-string QB. Nonetheless, they ended up with a winning season in what was perhaps the toughest division in pro football.

Asking the Vikings to win 9 or more games in 2026 seems very reasonable.

I made a large wager on the Vikings to go OVER 8.5 wins at -125.

I’ll get into more of the reasons why after a discussion of these futures prices and their values.

---Numbers and Value: Division Winner---

Let's continue with Minnesota's projected odds on winning the NFC North. Prices range from around +350 to as high as +480 (you may find numbers different elsewhere – I scanned the numbers at most major land-based and online sportsbooks).

Raw unfiltered odds would pay exactly 3 to 1 (or +300). That’s because there are four teams in the division and each team has a theoretical 25 percent chance to win. By any metric, the Vikings are widely considered longshots to win their division. This is because all four teams are bona fide playoff contenders, and Minnesota is perceived as somewhat inferior to Chicago, Detroit, and Green Bay.

I disagree with this popular assessment. Even if the Vikings are not quite as good as their three rivals, the value of 4 to 1 (or higher) remains a mighty tempting wager. We can also bet the Vikings to make the playoffs – as the YES currently pays +160. That is also a very tempting bet.

Note that I did not make these bets. That’s because I believe there is better value elsewhere (see more below).

---Numbers and Value: NFC Winner---

Continuing with Minnesota's projected odds on winning the NFC Conference. Prices currently range from around +1600 to as high as +2300 (again, the odds you find could be different by the time you read this report).

I found 23 to 1 odds (+2300) at one of the local sportsbooks here in Las Vegas. Given that’s probably the best price available, I decided to make that wager rather than the “division winner” futures bet which was discussed earlier.

My reasoning is that if Minnesota wins the NFC North, their odds of also winning the NFC are much better than nearly 6 to 1 among the conference playoff teams. In short, the Vikings would have to win two or three playoff games in order to ultimately become the NFC Champions. My logic goes – if Minnesota is good enough to win a tough division, then they’re also more than capable of winning the NFC.

Is Minnesota a longshot? Well, since there are 16 teams in the conference, the Vikings should be priced at +1500 in the raw unfiltered futures odds. However, I am getting a much better price at +2300 odds. So, even if we agree the NFC is stacked with strong teams and loaded with Super Bowl contenders, I believe the assessment that Minnesota’s odds of winning the NFC are simply wrong, and the Vikings are grossly undervalued by the market.

Hence, I bet the Vikings to win the NFC at 23 to 1 odds. I believe this is the best value on the futures board.

---Will the Vikings Buck History?---

Let’s be clear. I’m betting on something that has not occurred in 50 years. Half a century.

The last time the Minnesota Vikings won the NFC and appeared in a Super Bowl game was five decades ago, in 1976.

Many of you reading this probably weren’t even alive back then.

Historical markers are interesting, but they also don’t have any bearing on handicapping and assessing value in sports betting. In fact, since the Vikings do not have a reputation as a Super Bowl pedigree franchise, this likely adds to their attractive odds and betting value – especially among contrarian bettors (like me).

---The 2026 Minnesota Vikings: A Quick Assessment---

I won’t spend too much time here on each player and position. Nor will I regurgitate lots of statistics. You can find that information elsewhere.

What I view as highly favorable about the Vikings is their proven recent history as a good team, an experienced and winning coaching staff, excellent skill position players, a top-five defense, and new energy at the quarterback position. If we combine an assessment that rivals may not be as good this season (I expect Bears to decline, Packers to struggle, and Lions are a mystery after finishing last in the division in 2025), that sets up the Vikings strongly to enjoy a winning season, and perhaps advance deeper into the postseason.

A few facts:

- Head Coach Kevin O’Connell has a career W-L record of 43-25 (.632) during the regular season. He debuted with the Vikings in 2022 and posted a stellar 13-4 record (with a new veteran QB, Cousins). After struggling with a 7-10 record in 2023, O’Connell’s Vikings went an even more remarkable 14-3 in 2024 (again, with a new veteran QB, Darnold). After a 9-8 season with a horrible offensive situation, he gets yet another new veteran QB to lead the offense. As for top assistants, offensive coordinator Wes Phillips has been in his role since the 2022 season. And, he's already proven successful twice with veteran quarterback transfers–and now repeats the ritual. Defense coordinator Brian Flores is widely regarded as one of the best in the game.

– Quarterback Kyler Murray is the biggest question mark and the Vikings’ fate in 2026 is likely on his shoulders and arm. The free-agent signing and acquisition from Arizona showed flashes of brilliance in seven inconsistent seasons with the Cardinals. But he also played on some very bad Arizona teams. This is a much better spot for Murray and his dual pass-run skill set, and he’ll be surrounded by talent on both sides of the ball for the first time in his pro career. Darkhorse Prediction: Murray competes for MVP prize in 2026.

- The Vikings’ receiver corps could be lethal. This is an elite unit and certainly one of the NFL’s best trios – with WRs Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and Jawan Jennings. Murray will have plenty of excellent targets. This group of receivers can make any QB look great, so long as everyone stays healthy.

- Minnesota’s defense ranked 3rd in the NFL in yards allowed last season. They ranked 7th in points allowed. If the Vikings retain anywhere near that level of excellence, with an improved offense this will become a complete team.

- Strength of schedule is a valid concern. Minnesota faces the 11th-toughest schedule based on W-L records from last season. However, this is not insurmountable. Playing in a tough division could make the Vikings a better team going forward as we’ve seen from the “bunching effect” of conference winners in recent years who tend to come from tougher divisions and play more difficult schedules.

--- My Conclusion---

Futures betting is mostly about finding values. It also requires thinking ahead and projecting long-range outcomes. Sometimes, outlier thinking is the optimal handicapping methodology, especially when betting markets and the public may be slow to catch on to changes that are always happening in the NFL. For these reasons, I believe the Vikings offer several attractive wagers for the upcoming season.

Here’s to the Minnesota Vikings achieving something they haven’t accomplished in 50 years – winning the NFC and making it to the Super Bowl.

WILLIAM HILL
2026 NFL HANDICAPPING CONTEST

[5 entries]

Each week, we pick just the winner of all NFL games -- no pointspreads. Very good value here with $10,000 weekly cash prize paid for the most winners. The season end winner collects $20,000 cash prize with lesser money for 2nd, 3rd, etc., plus if the Grand Prize winner finishes with 215 season wins or more over the total 18 weeks they receive a $1,000,000 cash bonus.

Note: Week #1 is somewhat different with Wed. and Thu. games, so the contest does not include those match-ups.

Here are our team selections for Week #1 based on number of times we have them on FIVE tickets. Some match-ups are split and I selected both sides on different tickets. In coming weeks, I'll type out the full list so investors can track it. But this first week, I'll keep it more simple.

Reminder--we are just picking the game winner:

STATIONS CASINOS
LAST MAN STANDING ELIMINATION CONTEST
$150,000 GUARANTEED WINNER-TAKE-ALL

[5 entries]

Objective: Pick 1 (one) team only from the NFL weekly card to cover the STN pointspread. A loss means instant elimination. A win means advancing into the next week. Not to be confused with "Survivor" contests, which typically do not use the pointspread.

Last season this contest attracted 6,400 entrants. The winner was crowned in Week 17, which meant he picked the pointspread winner over each of the 17 weeks.

We have five entries, which means we can pick as many as five different teams (so long as we don't suffer a loss).

Strategy: I don't want to spend lots of time on this contest (I must go into Stations to manually put in the entries each week). So, I'll play *fast* early with just one team this opening week and either advance or be out quick. Note that we can expect about half the field to be cut each week, so you can just slice 6,400 (projected) entrants in half. Week 16 is the expected conclusion based on simple math, but it could end anywhere in Weeks 15-18.

Note: I wouldn't get too excited about this contest until (and if) we reach perhaps Week #10 and then it could get intriguing with $150K up top as the prize.

2026 WESTGATE CONTEST
NFL REGULAR SEASON WINS

[2 ENTRIES]

We pick OVER or UNDER for all 32 NFL teams on their preseason projection. The entrant who picks the most teams correctly -- wins the contest. Last season, the contest winner picked 24 of 32 correctly.

Strategy: With two entries, we can split teams, especially uncertain teams which appear to be coin flips. About 75 percent of the board is relatively straightforward as we usually pick the teams based on where the market is now, as opposed to these early (now outdated) lines/odds. For instance, if a team is now O/U 9 but it's listed as O/U 9.5 on the contest odds, we almost always go with the flow of money that moved the line down half a game/win. A few teams have lines that moved a full game/win, so those were easy decisions. We also want to get as close to splitting the number of OVER teams with UNDER teams (16-16) on both tickets. Last season, we finished 17-13-2 in this contest.

2026-2027 LAS VEGAS NFL BETTING SYNDICATE

Welcome everyone!

This is the first of many posts. Be prepared to see a bombardment of updates and information starting now and running through February of 2027.

My goal -- aside from winning money and having fun -- is to give everyone who invests a thrilling ride. Buckle up.

I'm now finalizing all the contest entries and preseason selections. So, I'll be refreshing this page regularly. Every week, you will see ALL of the picks in advance. We are also investing in more contests and with more entries than ever before. So, even though each of you has a small piece of the combined investment, you are in action across the board every week on pro and college football.

Some of you are wondering--am I in? This is easy to answer.

Are you in? Assuming you invested in the 2026 contests with me, then your money carried over into this new season. Thank you to everyone for making my life easier and not forcing me to become an accountant with nearly 70 investors. Hopefully, there will be money to divide at the end of this coming new season (we lost last year). A few of you did divest your funds and I assume you know who you are--I have records of all transactions. There is no need to worry -- if you left me your "rollover" money from last year, you are good to go this season.

Note: I do have two (2) shares currently available if anyone is interested. MESSAGE me on this Facebook account, and it will be first-come/first-serve. Each share is $111, or $222 for the two final pieces of the investment pie. UPDATE: SOLD OUT

I will do the numbers later. But most of the money is going into these contests for the upcoming season, which is about to begin:

-- Westgate Super Contest -- NFL .... 4 entries (this is the one where we finished second in 2024 and netted $186,000 for the investors)
-- Circa Millions -- NFL .... 4 entries
-- Westgate College Football Contest .... 3 entries
-- Westgate NFL Season Win Totals Contest .... 1 entry
-- Westgate Survivor Contest .... 5 entries
-- Stations Survivor Contest .... 5 entries
-- Futures Bet TBD .... one wager with big payoff, at least $1,000 to win 20x (will announce when I conclude the best odds)

This means,, you will see approximately FIVE posts per week here with the selections. I will place a banner on each category so as to avoid confusion. It's hard to keep all of these contests straight. I will also keep a running count and update as I have done in years past. In addition, I will share my weekly write-up for the NFL as I have done for many years.

In short, expect pretty much the same "release" procedures, though there's a bit more work this year. I wanted to diversify a bit so we can catch a nice run somewhere and get a good ride for our money.

As I always say, your comments are welcome. You may share picks and thoughts, as well. I can't promise to follow them, but this is YOUR investment and I want to have people involved.

There's a lot of work involved in this and it's fun when we win, but not so much when we lose. The fund has gone through ecstatic highs but also some crushing disappointments. Hey, that's sports gambling.

There's a few scraps of money leftover in our fund, which I will do something with later on, perhaps. For now, let's get ready for the new season.

Be on the lookout for much more football content moving forward.

Thanks for reading, for investing, and most important for me -- your trust and confidence.

ANNOUNCING!

BACK IN ACTION!

2026 Las Vegas NFL Betting Syndicate returns.

Please note new group name (changed from "2025" to "2026').

Unless you cashed out at the end of last season (Feb. 2026 was the end of season date), you are ROLLED OVER into the 2026 regular season. So, you will be in action.

The rules and instructions are basically the same as last two years. Pretty much the same contests, amounts, and weekly news and updates. Naturally, you are encouraged to share ideas and post comments.

I will have most of the details near the end of August, roughly a week before the football season begins. You can follow along here. Please bookmark this page, with the new GROUP NAME.

I ask that you don't message me, unless it's important. No need to double check on funds or verify anything. If you were in the contest syndicate last season you are verified to be in for 2026, unless you are one of 6 people who cashed out.

Thanks again for being part of the investment group and for your trust.
