Realizing there's a lot of people here on
FB who are upset that Gadsden was ranked No. 1 in the MaxPreps rankings... say what you will about MP but that's a ranking the NMAA takes into consideration when seeding teams for playoffs. The Panthers have been consistent in past seasons and have had strong performances so far this year. (Yes, I understand who they’ve played these first three games).

They earned that No. 1 spot and I really hope they hold onto it. Just saying. A very competitive district season is coming up. Including a trip to Artesia on Sept. 18 … I might have to make that game🤔
We shall see how the Panthers hold up this district season…

It'll be interesting to see the latest NMOT coaches poll .. should be posted later this week.

Romeo Jones dives into the end zone for one of his touchdowns. Jones and Jaden Gonzales were a nice one-two punch in the backfield today. The Knights are a confident bunch right now, as they should be. Look for a great matchup next week with the Eagles (0-2-1)! 🗡️🏈

Knights move to 3-0. A sort of “quiet” game for OM. Scored 46 and 54 points in the first two games. Regardless, Greg Mallory and his team get the shutout and WIN.

Next for OM is Eldorado.
