NM BATZ Softball We are the NM Batz 8u Softball Team proudly representing Las Cruces, NM in the USSSA 8U division.

Our program is dedicated to teaching young athletes the fundamentals of softball while instilling values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

💜🩵 Congratulations to the girls on an outstanding 8-1 weekend! 🥎🔥🦇

What a great and fun weekend at the Goliath Tournament in Lubbock! Our girls came out ready to compete, playing hard, battling through every game, and showing incredible heart all weekend long.

While we're disappointed that they were denied the opportunity to complete what was shaping up to be an exciting comeback in our final game, we couldn't be prouder of the determination, resilience, and teamwork these girls displayed. The growth, effort, and bond this team continues to build are something special to watch.

NM BATZ finished the weekend with an impressive 8-1 record! 🥎🔥🦇

Every player contributed, every battle mattered, and every game was another step forward. Keep your heads high, girls your hard work does not go unnoticed. We are proud of the way you represented NM BATZ on and off the field.

🔥 NM BATZ GO UNDEFEATED IN POOL PLAY! 🔥

What a weekend so far for these girls! The NM Batz finished pool play with a perfect 7-0 record, showing heart, hustle, and teamwork every time they stepped on the field!

From the first pitch to the final out, these athletes played hard, supported each other, and represented New Mexico with pride. Their bats stayed hot, the defense came through when it mattered most, and every player contributed to this incredible accomplishment.

Now it's time for the next challenge!

What an incredible weekend for the NM Batz Softball! 💙🥎

Our tournament run came to an end with a hard-fought 7 inning game battle 7 to 6 against Exclusive 2K17, but these girls left everything they had on the field. Going 2-3-1 for the weekend and defeating teams from Oklahoma and Louisiana!

After a slow start to the weekend, they showed tremendous heart, determination, and resilience—battling back, competing hard, and proving exactly what this team is made of.

Playing game after game in the blazing sun and intense humidity is no easy task, but these athletes never quit. They dug deep, supported one another, and put on an absolute show for everyone watching. The scoreboard may not have ended in our favor, but the effort and character these girls displayed is something to be proud of.

To our players: Hold your heads high. You represented NM Batz with class, toughness, and pride. The growth we saw this weekend was outstanding, and this is only the beginning. Keep believing, keep working, and keep competing—the best is yet to come!

A huge THANK YOU to all of our parents for the countless hours, travel, and support, and to everyone who contributed to our fundraisers, cheered from the stands, followed along from home, and supported this team every step of the way. We couldn't do it without you!

🥎🦇 NM BATZ SOFTBALL – ROAD TO THE SHOW UPDATE 🦇🥎

After a slow start in pool play on Saturday, our girls flipped the switch on Sunday and showed exactly what NM BATZ softball is all about!

We finished pool play with a 1-2-1 record, but more importantly, the team came out Sunday swinging hot bats, playing tough defense, and competing with heart every inning. The hard work and determination paid off as we earned a spot in the Gold Bracket of the 6th Annual Road to the Show Tournament!

The NM BATZ have arrived in Oklahoma City for the 6th Annual Road to the Show WCWS! 🥎

We are proud to be the ONLY 8U softball team representing New Mexico at this incredible event!

These girls have worked hard all season and are beyond excited for the experience ahead.

Today kicks things off with the player party where the girls will get to trade pins with teams from different states, meet other teams, and compete in fun skills competitions before tournament play begins Saturday!

Good luck to our BATZ girls as they represent New Mexico with heart, hustle, and teamwork. Let’s have fun and show them what NM softball is all about! 💜🖤🥎
