I want to say thank you!!! To my high school Coach Ray Pavia for coming out and working with us. We had a great time and it was amazing to see you in action once again. It took me back to when you coached me. It’s a blessing to have had you come in share your knowledge.

On be half of myself and my wife Coach Sophie. It is with an excited and sad hearts to say we are going to miss the young wonderful young lady Sophie Morgan!!! Yet we know you will be back! As you leave for your studies Abroad we wish you a wonderful and happy time. We I’ll be praying for you, your safety, as well as a good education. We have seen you grow up to a beautiful young strong woman, as well as a good wrestler and martial artist. We are always proud of you and as one of our Original Rising Suns Wrestler & Martial artist you will be missed while your gone and will also be welcome back with open arms when you come back. I know it’s a bit late!!! While some have been with us for a while and some have gone, do to circumstances.However  Please everyone help Coach Sophie and I (Coach Bernie)give a nice big warm welcome to my hard working kids. They have been working hard training and we have had our ups and down but that’s how it goes. Welcome to Rising Suns Wrestling !! beginning kids wrestling. Emilio, Ian, Paisley & Little Tristan.

I as well as my Wife/ Assistant Coach Sophie are so proud of the hard work these young men are putting in this summer. Here at Rising Suns Wrestling we have had a lot of good changes, like moving into a new building and starting a new season and a new beginning. These young men as well as our kids have truly made this adventure fun. I know some pictures that I’ll be posting are late but I have to show our kid off. And there still more to come because,as you all know,we are not just a wrestling program,we are martial arts and fitness so more pics to come of them also.

Hello to all of our friends and supporters!!! The tournament we were going to attend has been cancelled

The Las Cruces Classic Freestyle Tournament has been canceled due to an unexpected double booking of the gym. We made every effort to secure an alternate venue but were unable to find a suitable option. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

For those still looking to compete this weekend, there is a tournament on Saturday 4/25 at Montwood High School in El Paso.
