Flashback Friday…

10 years ago, I walked into a new school, with my very first solo classroom as a new educator. Not sure what to really expect, but determined to get to know my students.

Fast forward to today… some of these students still run into me and give the best hugs! Some bring their kids to trick or treat at my house. Some have used CCS to help them elevate their career. I know I didn’t do everything perfect that first year, but I was genuine and tried. That has made a difference.

If you’re ever curious about my genuine dedication to my clients at CCS, ask my former students. I’m in it for the long run. I genuinely care and want to make a difference together.

Thankful to take a breather today and reflect in the quietness of my back patio. We are wrapping up our last week of summer and heading into a new season.

It’s during this time that I like to pause and thank the ending season for the lessons learned. Then pray over the next season and think of 3 good things I would like to get out of the season.

Story time… FYI, this is going to be a longer post.

If you’re new here…almost 2 years ago, we went through a REALLY TOUGH season. It’s what I called our dumpster fire, with raccoons shooting off glitter bombs while rolling down a very steep hill… if you want to know more on that… you’ll have to read my upcoming book 📖.

We had to rebuild a lot in the last 2 years. With that was my home office. Which, was one of my favorite places before. But now… wow! Now, it speaks to my soul. I feel intentional in this space. So it’s a reminder, that you can rise up again, even if it takes more time than anticipated. 🦚
