⚾️‼️ We want to sincerely thank everyone who came out and supported the Home Run Derby Fundraiser. The turnout and generosity far exceeded anything we imagined. From the incredible family participation and community support to the amount of funds we raised—and most importantly, how much fun everyone had—it was an unforgettable day!
Some have asked how much we’ve raised so far. While we’re still waiting on a few donations to come in (some are waiting on checks in the mail or coordinating a time to meet up), I’m excited to share that we’ve already received over $3,500!
To put that into perspective, my original goal was to raise $1,200. Because of all of you, we’ve more than tripled that goal!
Every dollar raised goes directly back into the Mud Dogs baseball program to help provide our players with the equipment and uniforms they need.
Here’s what the current donations will help cover:
4 dozen baseballs — $220
4 larger-size batting helmets — $200
1 safety screen — $60
Jerseys for next season — $1,050
Pants for next season — $850
Caps for next season — $850
Belts and socks — $220
Total: $3,450
Because of your generosity, we’ve already raised enough to cover all of these expenses. Now there are still a few expenses left to cover and I’m sure the remaining donations that we’ll be receiving soon will help.
