The CAL Sports Academy Beginner Volleyball Development League is designed to introduce young athletes to the game in a positive, encouraging environment where they can learn, build confidence, and have fun.

🏀 Every Basketball Journey Has a Starting Point

Is your child interested in basketball but not quite ready for a highly competitive league?

The CAL Sports Academy Beginner In-House Basketball League gives young athletes a place to learn the game, build confidence, compete, and have fun in a positive developmental environment.

Designed for boys and girls ages 6–9, Grades 1–3, players will develop fundamentals including dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, court awareness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. No previous league experience is required.

CAL Sports Academy proudly celebrates 20 years of serving youth, families, and our community.

Since 2006, our mission has been about more than sports. We’ve worked to develop athletes, build character, create opportunities, and strengthen communities through basketball, volleyball, training, leagues, camps, and mentorship.

Thousands of practices. Countless games. Wins and losses. Friendships formed. Confidence built. Lessons learned. Young athletes who grew up with CAL and are now adults, parents, coaches, and leaders themselves.

Through every season, one thing has remained the same:

🎉 Happy Birthday, Coach Dell!

Today, the CAL Sports Academy family celebrates Coach Cordell “Dell” Lord! 🏀🎂

Coach Dell has grown up around CAL Sports Academy, from being an athlete himself to now coaching, teaching, mentoring, and helping develop the next generation of young players.

His passion for basketball is important, but what means even more is the time and energy he gives to the young people he works with. Coaching is about more than teaching the game. It is about encouraging athletes, challenging them, believing in them, and helping them grow on and off the court.

We appreciate everything Coach Dell brings to our athletes, families, and the CAL Sports Academy community.

Is your athlete ready for the next level? 🏀

CAL Sports Academy is preparing for our Fall 2026 AAU Basketball season, and we're looking for dedicated players who are ready to develop their game and compete.

Our AAU program goes beyond tournament weekends. Athletes train throughout the week with team practices and Complete Player Training, focusing on skill development, basketball IQ, decision making, confidence, teamwork, and competing the right way.

⏰ 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM
📍 Trinity Lutheran Church, Lansdale
