LIBERTY CUP!!!!
How many teams from our state can we create in each age group?
A: Each state can send one (1) team in each age division (10U-12U-14U-16U-18U). 10U and 12U will be classified as “Open”. 14-18U is “A”
Q: Will coaches have their hotel rooms comped and if so, what days?
A: Yes - we will have up to 2 coaches rooms taken care of for Thursday-Sunday night stay (January 14-15-16-17)
Q: What exactly is Marucci providing for each athlete?
A: Marucci will provide each athlete a Bat Bag, Battings Gloves and LIzard Skins that is participating in the event
Q: What else will players receive?
A: Players will also receive 2 state jerseys, a custom medal, and a custom tumbler
Q: Do players have to be from the same State?
A: Yes, all players MUST be from the state where they live. A Kansas team must have ALL Kansas kids.
Q: How many players from one team can be on the Liberty Cup Roster?
A: There is no cap on this but we would like to see no more than 4 players from one particular team on the Liberty Cup final roster
Q: Could a 16U team pull up a 14U player to play on their roster?
A: Yes, we will treat rosters the same as we would for any other event. A 16U team can add all age eligible players to their roster
Q: What is the cost for each player to register going to be?
A: $395 - same price we charge for our existing S30 event
Q: What is the format of the event?
A: 4 pool into single elimination bracket play. All games are 90 minute time limits. Games will wrap up on MLK Day with 3PM or 4:45 PM CH games so people can fly home Monday night
Q: What are the coaches going to receive for participating?
A: Coaches will also receive the custom medal and tumbler
Q: Will all the games be live streamed?
A: Yes, all games will be streamed live through USSSA Live
Q: Will we have time to practice at the facility before games begin?
A: Yes, all teams will get the opportunity to practice at the Space Coast Complex on Friday afternoon/evening

As many of you know, USSSA has implemented a regional board dedicated to reviewing and maintaining team classifications. With this system in place, team classifications may change as needed to ensure fair and competitive play for everyone. While occasional adjustments may inconvenience some teams and could require schedule changes, these steps are being taken in the best interest of the sport. This process helps protect the integrity of the game and supports a positive experience for all athletes and teams.

We kindly ask that all discussion around this remain respectful and positive as we work together to support our athletes and the growth of the game. We appreciate everyone’s understanding, flexibility, and continued commitment to sportsmanship and competition.
