The Red Rose Run turned fifty today.

Over 2,200 people toed the line. Thousands more lined the sidewalks. A city showed up for fifty years of a tradition that keeps getting better.

Congratulations to everyone who ran it, walked it, volunteered it, and cheered it.

A small speaker, good music, light coming up through the trees. The trail is the show. Eggs and pancakes on the griddle when you get back. Common, poured cold.

The September finale closes with a sunset run, a cookout, sauna, and fire pits after dark.
