From The Ground Up Equestrian & Fitness Professional I am an athlete, animal lover, and explorer born in the Bay Area. I've lived in California and all over the states.

While I enjoy visiting exotic places, such as Dubai, I am a California girl to the bone. And more specifically, a country girl at heart. Currently a resident of El Dorado County, I thoroughly enjoy the Sacramento to Lake Tahoe area. I consider myself very blessed to live in a community with such an abundance of fitness opportunities, equestrian community, adventure and nature. I began my professio

nal career in fitness as a Certified Personal Trainer in 2006. Since then, I have achieved a diverse fitness background with certificates ranging from general group fitness to specialties such as Spinning and Baptiste Yoga 200HR YTT. I have trained at various Southern California athletic clubs, as well as, the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa. In El Dorado County, I have recently coached at SwimLabs of El Dorado Hills. I am currently teaching at RubiconFit in Placerville.

While fitness is definitely part of who I am, horsemanship is the flip side of that coin. In 2011, I founded The Ranch at Hillside Haven. Another comp qualifier under our belts! Grateful to have been a part of Thrivin & Survivin with Makayla Campbell and Bri Thomy (I was the “survivin” part of the team equation due to seriously injuring my sternum a week before quals.) I did way more than I thought I was going to be able to, so I’m happy. I wish I could have been at normal capability, but injuries are just part of doing hard things.

FINAL DAY AT NCC! The last day was a blur of action and exhaustion. Resting Bench Face made the cut for top 10 and we are ecstatic about that. We had such talented and strong competitors so we feel accomplished to keep up with them. Team Captain, , did such an amazing job handling the logistics on top of throwing down hard. (I require babysitting 😬) Big love and a grateful shout out to Dave, my husband and head coach, for guiding us all to this point! Our whole RubiconFit crew stepped out of their comfort zones and represented! We are very proud! Praise God for able bodies and a request for prayers to overcome the current soreness 🫠

DAY ONE on the books for Resting Bench Face! We were placed with another division’s heat instead of our own so we had challenges to overcome right out of the gate. Rolling my ankle coming off the rings was another unfortunate set back. Rolled it again jump roping for the second workout. Can’t take me out that easy though! Pulling up for day two, let’s go!
