We made it out to fest! Car was super tight in practice today. Had some hiccups coming out of the corner, the engine would lose power and come back full tilt. We put some work into the car after practice, and will be back tomorrow. 🤘🏻

Went racing last weekend. Fiesta City Speedway was a very fun track.

Heat race - had the wrong gearing and the car just didn’t have it. Went from 3rd to 5th.

Made some changes to the car. New tire size, different air pressures.

Feature - With the right tire size the car was pretty quick. Started 5th. Early caution coming out of turn 4, car clipped the wall and we almost got collected. Managed to avoid it. Restarted 5th and it was green flag racing until the checkered flag. Moved up a few spots. It was good clean racing. Almost made a pass for the lead but I showed my hand too soon and over drove the car into turn 4, finished p2 right behind the leader.

We will be going back this Friday. We will have to make a couple changes in order to be more Wissota friendly. It’s hard to bounce between rule packages but we will get it done.

Shout out to the track crew as well, they were very happy to have us. Very welcoming. Great little track.

Dirt on Friday, asphalt on Saturday? Going to try and run Red Cedar Speedway on Friday night, and head to Berlin Speedway on Saturday. Keeping an eye on the weather. Hopefully we can make both shows. Should be interesting.
