The Storm is coming! Announcing Kevin Bacha!
Kevin is a former Division I tennis player from York, PA—yes, you heard that right, he was once that guy on the court at Campbell University. And just to add a sprinkle of romance to the mix, Kevin and his wife, Kerri, first met at the tender age of 12 while battling it out on the tennis courts of their local club. Thirty years later, they're still serving up love and heading into their 30th anniversary this September. Cue the romantic applause!
When he's not hanging with Kerri or reminiscing about his glory days on the tennis court, Kevin's swinging clubs as a dedicated golfer. He's proudly represented York in the Men’s “War of the Roses” tournaments (yes, that's a thing), proving he’s not just good with rackets. But here's the twist—Kevin’s pickleball journey began with his mom introducing him to the sport, but it wasn't until the pandemic hit that the addiction really took hold. With nowhere else to go, Kevin turned the family’s mini-basketball court into a pickleball paradise. The ultimate pandemic DIY project? Absolutely.
Now, with four kids to keep them busy, life’s never dull. But once the nest was empty, Kevin and Kerri—aka —ramped up their pickleball game and dove headfirst into the senior pro scene, snagging medals along the way. Pickleball wasn’t just a sport; it was Kevin’s personal lifeline to competition. It filled the void, gave him a fresh new mission, and soon, he was drafted to play in the APP Humana Cup & Champion’s Tour from the get-go, as well as the Central PA Pro Pickleball League.
"I’m beyond pumped to meet new people and play for our amazing team owners, Eddie and Marina Anderson!" Kevin says. "Let’s go Team Florida Storm!"
