OPENING DAY IS HERE

BASEBALL IS FINALLY HERE!!!

Schedule has been changed as the Mocs will now play a DH on Friday starting at 2pm against W. Florida. There is no game on Saturday and they will play game 3 on Sunday @ 1pm.

Alumni weekend is Feb 5-8th.
Thursday, Feb 5th - Hall of Fame Ceremony 630pm at the school

Friday, Feb 6th
9am- Golf at Cleveland Heights
6pm - Game @ Henley vs Young Harris

Saturday, Feb 7th
9am- Golf at Cleveland Heights
1pm - Game @ Henley vs Young Harris
4pm - Game @ Henley vs Young Harris
7pm - Dinner at Cleveland Heights ($25 charge for dinner)

The Florida Southern Mocs open the 2026 season on Friday, January 30th in Pensacola, FL when the Mocs face #25 West Florida for a three game series. This is a huge opening weekend and one that could determine a host for the South Regional Tournament. Last year the Mocs took 2 of 3 from the Argos in Lakeland, which enabled them to be a host for the Regional tournament. The Argos ultimately eliminated the Mocs from the post-season last year.

Following the weekend series in Pensacola, the Mocs have their home opener on Tuesday, Feb 3rd against Valdosta State for a mid-week game before hosting Young Harris College who also made a regional berth in 2025 and are currently receiving votes for the Top 25.

These first 7 games are monster games for regional rankings. If you plan on going to any games please let me know so we can provide access to the game free of charge for you and your family. Part of the perks of being a club member! Have a great weekend everyone! Baseball is finally here!!

Thursday, Feb 5th. Hall of Fame Inductions at 6:30.
Friday Feb 6th. Golf at Cleveland Heights starting at 9:00.
Friday Baseball at Henley.
Saturday Feb 7th. Golf at Cleveland Heights starting at 9:00.
Saturday Feb 7th. Baseball at Henley. FSC Baseball Reception at Cleveland Heights at 7:00.

Wives and Girlfriends are invited to any and all events! Please bring them along! ( Save your Marriage!! )

Here is the first draft of Golfers for both Friday and Saturday. Some guys are playing only 1 day. Groups and Tee times will be figured out next week. Sorry if I misspell some names. Please let me know you have other Mocs who want to play.

We wanted to get word out about Alumni Weekend so all of you can make plans to attend. This year there are two special events associated with Alumni Weekend.

Thursday, February 5th
(6pm?) - 2 Former Mocs Baseball players will be inducted into the FSC Hall of Fame. All are invited to attend.

Friday, February 6th
(12pm) - Special ceremony for Coach Smeltzy - the president is encouraging all of us to attend this event.

Saturday, February 7th
(10am) - Golf at Cleveland Heights (Terry please confirm this)
