While I was on the phone with an old friend catching up on life... I managed to start wrapping this call and decided I would draw on it to see if I'd have it finished by the time we hung up. The long talk we shared that held my attempt, turned out successful. I joked about naming it "The Mike" like (mic)ropone, after him. Although it seemingly fits this caller with the gobbler and the astonishingly loud sounds that can come from wingbones. Chad Willett Chad Willett's Custom Turkey Call Art. While so many want to wait until the spring season, nothing I build or do art on is mass produced. They're all handcrafted, which takes time to build. The available selections get fairly short and if you decide on an order during spring turkey, there is no guarantee that it will be finished and available for use that a season.

Here is some bamboo yelpers I've recently built... a few of these type of calls actually still hang around in the shop from Charlie Parrish years ago! One, specifically has a phone number with an area code pre- 863 for central Florida!
It's said that even Indians and some of the early day turkey hunters would use cane or bamboo callers to hunt with because of the realistic sounds they can make!
