We have spent weeks and months talking about this. First, Yes I have been smashed for changing the date on the Cross lake championship… In my defense, we talked about the date the last 3-4 tournaments. Mike Cork, the date change was not intentional. It was based off the last whatever years when duck season started. We tried to adjust when the state adjusted too… we have met some amazing friends along the way over the last 7-8 years… We have tried to run a fair and honest tournament every time… To those that have turned on us, Congrats… you all win and there will be no more trails in our future. Bradley Virgillito helped me start the Funkbuster team trail. Thanks brother! To all that texted and messaged your concerns thank you! We are done after the Thursday Night Championship Sept 19th. Here is what I and others couldn’t do… As a tournament director, create a council locally and set a calendar…. it will make life much more easier to you all! Good luck everyone but this guy is going fun fishing!
