The 2027 Lake View Lightning 8U Baseball Team is coming together! 💙⚾️

We’re excited to welcome back our five returning players:

⚡️ Rasmus Dzemidzic
⚡️ Cameron Steckroth
⚡️ Maddox Caldwell
⚡️ Leo Ross
⚡️ Cayden Watkins

And they’re being joined by 8 NEW players who are ready to bring their energy, talent, and Lightning to the field! ⚡️

Messages like this are a reminder that what we’re building at Lake View Lightning is about so much more than wins, losses, and roster spots.

Youth baseball can be tough. Not every player makes every team, and sometimes those decisions are difficult. But regardless of the outcome, every kid deserves to be treated with respect, given an opportunity, and leave the field feeling good about themselves and the game.

💙⚾️ Today, our 8U Blue Team season comes to an end.

When we look back at this season, we are incredibly proud of what this group of kids and families accomplished.

We were lucky enough to have two 8U teams this season, and our Blue Team families jumped at the opportunity to embrace something a little different, a development-focused team created by our 8U organization to give these young players more opportunities to learn, grow, compete, and fall in love with the game.

To our players, we couldn’t be more proud of you. Keep working, keep learning, keep competing, and most importantly, keep loving this game.

To our Blue Team families, thank you for trusting the process. Thank you for embracing the opportunity, supporting your kids, cheering from the stands, and helping make this season so special.

We are incredibly grateful that we had the opportunity to build something special with this group.

Today may be the end of the 8U Blue Team season, but for these young Lightning players, this is only the beginning. ⚡️

The countdown is on! In just 2 days, we’ll be hitting the field for Lake View Lightning 7U & 8U Baseball Tryouts, and we can’t wait to meet the next group of future Lightning players!
