We got a huge surprise today.

There is an absolutely amazing person in our community who has once again chosen to sponsor some of the registration fees for EVERY. SINGLE. PLAYER. 😭❤️

This means that our registration fees have been lowered!

New fees are $50 for K-2nd grade flag football and $100 for 3rd-6th grade tackle!!

This person has an absolute heart of gold 💛, and wants to see every kid in our community be involved without the financial burden. We cannot thank them enough for the love and support they have given to us and the kids in this community❤️

THE TIME HAS COME!

Registration is open for the 2026 football season!

We offer Co-Ed flag football for Kindergarten-2nd graders and Tackle football for grades 3rd/4th and 5th/6th.

We had an amazing turnout last year and are hoping to grow it even bigger this season!

Register before August 5th to secure a spot on a team.

That’s a wrap for our 2025 tackle football season!

This year we had one 3rd/4th grade tackle team coached by Lucas Enneberg, Bud Normand, Jarryn Marine and Craig Enneberg. This group was absolutely amazing this season! These guys play in a metro league where they have to compete against teams who come from much bigger areas (Hillsboro, Forest Grove, Aloha, Beaverton etc…) and these guys won 4 out of 8 of their games, and 2 of our losses were so close, we count them as wins in our book 😉

There is some real talent on this team and we trust that they will be a force to reckon with as they continue to grow in the game.

These coaches were the perfect men for the job, the character they built and the core values they instilled are unmatched. They taught them that hard work truly does pay off and that they can do anything they set their minds to.

Lots of love and huge thank yous to all of the parents, players, coaches and sponsors who dedicated so much to this program, we are forever grateful!

A final shout out to our officials Koa Leininger, Josh LaBelle, Sammy Hough and Hudson Hargrave as well as Karen Roberts for running our game clock and superintendent Jim Helmen for announcing. Without you all we wouldn’t be able to host home games. We appreciate you all more than you’ll ever know❤️

And just like that our season is over…

This season we had two flag football teams.

One of them was a Kindergarten/1st grade team coached by Kris and Tasia Cully and Robert Sicard. This little group was SO. FUN. TO. WATCH! They were fast, they were focused, they really bought in to this sport and the coaches were the perfect people for the job. Kris and Robert were so hands on and encouraging while Tasia handled the behind the scenes stuff. We are so pleased with how their season went and are excited to watch these little guys as they come up through the program❤️

The second team was a 1st/2nd grade team coached by Cody Eaton, Jared Stevens and Alicia Mahoney. This group of boys are athletes through and through! This phase of flag is a transitional time where the coaches implement some more technical things, preparing these boys for the next stage, tackle ball! They worked on some big plays and were even throwing touchdown passes! They also focused a lot on being responsible teammates and what it means to work together. These kiddos and coaches did a great job and the future of Vernonia booster Club football looks bright with them in it!

A HUGE thank you to all the parents, coaches and players for making the 2025 flag football season one for the books! We are already looking forward to next year!

Last night, our K/1st grade flag team and our 1st/2nd grade flag team went head to head in an epic scrimmage.

It was so fun to watch!

Thank you to coach Cody Eaton for taking the time to organize it. The kids were having a blast, parents were supporting them and cheering them all on… this is what this sport is about!

The flag teams get to battle under the lights for their last game of the season on Saturday October 25th at HARE field in Hillsboro.

K/1 team plays at 6:30pm
1/2 team plays at 7:30 pm.
