We have been looking forward to this weekend all season to prove ourselves against the best in our class but the rain drowned out the day. The tournament was cancelled in the semi finals with our Edge girls earning the championship title based on their 3 day performance to that point only allowing 2 runs and scoring 31. The rain cant take away the fact that girls were playing some great ball. They had power and finesse at the plate, speed on the bases, pitchers were phenomenal and when it was needed defense showed up huge with some spectacular plays. Great job ladies!!!

The girls went 3-0 in pool play with some great highlights in all phases of the game. Bracket play starts tonight at 8:30 against Grand Rapids Diamonds. Lets go Edge!!!

The USSSA State Championship starts today! This one has been circled on the calendar all year.

We start with 3 games over two days for pool play. Good luck ladies! Leave it all on the field.

Happy Birthday Riley!!! On the field she is a menace in the circle spinning it and locating with the best of them. She has been on a absolute tear at the plate after stealing her sisters ghost. Being one of the original Edge players from 9u she has racked up incredible career numbers and off the field anyone is lucky to know Riley for her kind personality and sense of humor. Happy Birthday 10.

The team was able to spend a beautiful weekend together in Gladwin. Thanks to our hosts, Coach Brad and DJ Dana, the girls enjoyed 4 wheeling (mud bogging), volleyball, bonfires, bday celebrations and more! The parents even managed to have a little fun 😃

Not to be forgotten, Edge 12U won the G-Town Showdown by going 4-0 on the weekend! The sleepover curse has been broken?! 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Happy Birthday Clare!!! She has been absolutely dominant on the mound this season pitching the most innings in the circle and can do it all at the plate from the left side. We are very glad Clare joined us this season not only for who she is on the field but also who she is off the field with a great personality and work ethic. Happy Birthday 6!!!

Happy Birthday to our spark plug and Edge OG Kara. Kara brings to the field speed, energy, team spirit and did i mention speed? As a lead off hitter Kara leads the team in OBS% and scores 53% of the time she comes to the plate. The true epitome of a lead off hitter. Enjoy your day Onesie.
