The South Buckinghamshire Light Railway

The South Buckinghamshire Light Railway A 45mm gauge, 16mm/ft scale, garden railway that was located in Northwest Florida. The period modelled is between the 1930s and 1950s.

It has now moved to the North Georgia Mountains and is being recreated inside. Supposedly based on a fictitious 3ft narrow gauge railway in South Buckinghamshire, England. The SBLR is a 3ft gauge railway running between Datchet, on the river Thames to Beaconsfield in the Chiltern Hills of South Buckinghamshire. It goes via Cippenham, Slough Trading Estate, East Burnham, Farnham Common, Hedgerley and Gerrards Cross. The line in principally for goods traffic (farm produce, products of light industry) but there is also a healthy passenger (both locals and tourists) component. Interchange with the Southern Railway (Datchet), Great Western Railway (Slough Estate) and the GW/LNE joint line at Gerrards Cross provides for trans shipment of goods and passengers to other parts of the UK rail network.
