A muddy Sunday at Azzy is still a good day to learn the new 65 and get some seat time in.



Updates are coming from Grandma Lisa and dad while mom’s laid up at home.

Tried out the hillclimb after a few year hiatus. TerraX style and tried climbing the hill.

Otto pushed made some good passes and ended up getting tangled with lap traffic in the 200 class putting at P4

120 couldn’t get out of its own way off the line but Otto pulled a P2 in that class.

Far from the weekend we wanted, but none the less still a good weekend.

Saturday started off good, 6-7 final Otto got pushed up a berm, landed on and run over… you bet he got up and finished the race and continued to his 6-12 final where he was about mid pack with 17 riders.

Sunday he hung out in his heat races pushed hard in his finals 6-7 ended P4 was about a ski tip from 3rd crossing the line, 6-12 I’m not even sure what he finished to many to keep track of but again somewhere around mid pack.

Otto did the 200 trophy dash (dominator style race) made it to the 2nd round but just didn’t have enough ooomff in him to make it to the top bracket.

We are back in Plymouth this coming weekend, if any of Ottos sponsors are wondering how they can help, now would be the time. 2 races away from the end of the Midwest snocross series.

Made er to the podium in 200 6-7

Apologies for being a little quiet on here lately. I assure everyone Otto has still been chasing checkers!!

Today in Hartford WI he took 3rd overall in 200 stock 6-7 and 9th overall in 200 stock 6-12

Otto also raced some ice ovals the other weekend coming home with a 4th place finish, unfortunately he experienced some clutching issues.

His previous weekend at Hartford, I can’t recall what his overall was on Sunday but Sunday was a rough day with some tether issues causing his sled to shut down in the finals. Thanks to Grandpa Flag Guy we should never experience those issues again with an updated tether systems.Austin Ser Jam Service Inc. also upgraded the tether on the 120 to the same type.

Otto will be racing again tomorrow and I will update as I am able.

I want to give a huge shout out to Mike Rodes for hauling Ottos snowmobile to Ironwood for so that our lovely race family/friends The Bennetts could get it the rest of the way despite them not attending the race they made it happen. Life takes a village and Ottoman has a one of kind village behind him.
