This is what Florida has been about for me since we moved here in April. 🌴

Exploring backwater, loading up the Excel with fishing rods and crab traps, and just seeing where the day takes us.

Still getting used to calling Florida home, but I think I’m starting to get the hang of it. 🎣🦀

I don’t even know where to start… today was one of those fishing days you wish you could replay over and over. 🎣

It all came together with this beautiful 25” Redfish. There’s nothing quite like feeling that thump, watching the line take off, and realizing you’re hooked into a redfish like this. Absolutely incredible fight and an even better feeling putting a fish like this in the boat.

The No Live Bait Needed paddle tail and jig head were on fire today and caught just about everything we put them in front of.

What. A. Day. 🤘🎣

⚡🎣 Most people would pack it up when the lightning starts… we decided to see if the fish would bite.

Was it worth it? You’ll have to watch and find out! This was one of the craziest dock fishing sessions I’ve had, with storms rolling in and fish still feeding.

After moving across the country, I finally checked two big ones off the list today: my first fish in Florida and my first snook ever. Not a bad way to start the next chapter. The addiction is officially real.
