🏁 ONE LAST RACE FOR 2026! 🏁

It’s hard to believe, but this Sunday will be our final race of the 2026 season! Come on out to Dells Raceway Park for Labor Day of Doom and watch Lindsey and Colten hit the track one last time this year! 🏎️💨

This is always an awesome show with tons going on — racing, school bus races, trailer races, burnouts, stunts, demolition and fireworks to end the night! 🔥🎆

🎟️ We highly recommend buying your tickets ahead of time because this event usually SELLS OUT!

🏁 Wisconsin Dells Race Recap 🏁

We made it through our doubleheader race weekend! We’re definitely tired today, but it sure was a lot of fun and a great weekend of racing!

💗 Lindsey #60 qualified 6th, putting her in the fast heat. We struggled with the setup on her car throughout the evening, but Lindsey continues to be incredibly consistent behind the wheel. We’re still working on finding that setup that fits her best, and she kept pushing and making the most of what she had. She brought it home with an 8th-place finish in the feature!

🧡 Colten #5 had some car struggles of his own. We kept working at it throughout the night, and by feature time we finally figured out what the car needed. After making the corrections, he picked up over a full second in lap time! He drove a strong feature and finished 11th. Seeing that kind of improvement after making changes was a great way to end the night!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to Wisconsin Dells to watch and support the kids! It always means so much to them to see familiar faces in the stands. And an extra special thank you to our sponsors Paul and Jennifer for coming out and cheering them on again. We truly appreciate your support!

We absolutely love racing with the American Super Cups. It’s such a fun, family-oriented division, and we’re thankful for the friendships, memories, and racing that come along with it. ❤️🏁

Just ONE race weekend left this season — we’ll wrap things up over Labor Day weekend! Hard to believe the season is almost over. 🏁

🏁 Finally back at Tomah! 🏁

After three years of getting rained out every single time, we finally made it back to Tomah today! It’s such a cool and unique track — a little uphill, different banking, and definitely a different feel from the tracks we normally race.

Lindsey qualified mid-pack and then came out strong in her heat race. She battled it out up front and came away with a very strong 2nd-place finish! 🏁💪

Colten also had a really good day. Tomah has some tricky transitions, and he did a great job adjusting to them, racing his lines, and getting more comfortable with the track. We’re very proud of him and the progress he continues to make!

And, of course, in true Tomah fashion… the rain found us again. 🌧️😂 Our features ended up getting rained out, but at least we finally got some racing in there!

Now it’s on to Wisconsin Dells tomorrow! 🏁 Come on out and watch us race — we’d love to see you there!

For the second year, the kids had the opportunity to bring their race cars out to Burn Camp this week! 🏁❤️

This has quickly become one of our favorite events of the year. We absolutely love seeing the campers’ faces light up when they see the race cars and watching them climb in and out of them. 🏎️

Lindsey and Colten have just as much fun handing out candy and their hero cards, talking about racing, and sharing something they love with everyone.

And one of my favorite parts is receiving bracelets from the campers. ❤️ Those little bracelets mean more to me than they probably realize, and they make this event even more special.

We’re so thankful to be able to be a small part of Burn Camp and look forward to it every year. Already looking forward to next year! ❤️🏁

🏁 Race Recap – Slinger Speedway 🏁

What a night of racing for Herwald Racing! It wasn’t always easy, but we’re incredibly proud of the effort, determination, and teamwork that made it all possible.

First and foremost, we want to give a huge thank you to Bruce and Larry. We simply could not have raced all three cars without your help. From working in the pits to spotting, you both were absolutely amazing. Your hard work behind the scenes helped make the night a success, and we can’t thank you enough.

Lindsey qualified 4th and showed she had a fast car right from the start. Unfortunately, the feature turned into a very messy race. After getting caught up in an incident that wasn’t of her making, she was sent to the back of the field. She never gave up, drove her way back through the pack, and finished with a strong 10th-place finish.

Mike looked great back behind the wheel, especially considering it had been a few years since he last raced. He put together a solid night and brought home a 9th-place finish.

Colten drove a smart, patient race. With so much chaos happening around him, he kept his line, stayed out of trouble, and did an excellent job avoiding the wrecks while bringing home another solid finish.

We also want to thank our family, friends, sponsors, and everyone who came out to support us. We truly appreciate all of your encouragement each and every week.

🏁 A Special Race Day is Coming This Sunday! 🏁

This Sunday is going to be one for the books for Herwald Racing! It’s not just Lindsey and Colten taking on the track… Mike Herwald will be joining them behind the wheel in his #51 car!

🏁 Race Recap – LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway 🏁

Last Saturday we headed to LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway for another great night of racing!

Lindsey had an awesome night, bringing home 2nd in her heat race and 9th in the feature. Colten also had a solid night, finishing 11th in the feature.

LaCrosse is one of the toughest tracks we race. The sharp turns and changing transitions make it a real challenge, but both kids did an outstanding job adapting to the track. The heat and humidity made for a long, exhausting evening, but they pushed through and never gave up. We couldn’t be more proud of the determination, resilience, and hard work they showed all night long.

Now it’s time to get ready for our next race! We’ll be racing this Saturday at Dells Raceway Park, with racing starting at 6:00 PM. We’d love to see everyone come out and cheer on the kids! Kids wearing scouting uniforms get in FREE!

The kids are already getting their cars ready while we’re still at the campground. They’re excited, motivated, and ready to hit the track this weekend!
